Dear Senator Addabbo - If the reason you voted against Marriage Equality was because the majority of people who called your office were against it, don't you think the 15th district would be better represented if we just replaced you with a phone bank? What value do you add? Seriously, I'd like to know.
so basically fuck the 26% and my personal beliefs trump everything else. This guy needs a fucking education about what his duties are as an elected official.
No, sir, there are not many levels to what you were voting on there. You were voting on civil marriage. Religion has no place in deciding issues of civil fairness.
He's not getting the $10's of thousands of financial/electoral support from the gay rights groups which he received to help him get elected to the state senate when he appeared to be a socially respectable city council member - which I guess was a sheer fabrication in the first place.
By siding with the vocal majority, he ignored the rights of the minority. A majority percentage does not make anything "right", by virtue of being the majority. He is a typical politician, unfortunately. I live in his district, I voted for him, and now I regret that decision.
Nice going Addabbo, you mobbed-up wop shitheel.

Did you call his office before the vote and request that he vote yes for the marriage vote?

Civil Rights level - Approve, equal rights for all
Religious level - separation of church and state, if you're a christrian- the Golden rule
What other levels is he confused about?
