jesus christ guys dont giv up ure day jobs because wrestling journalism and commentary isnt gonna work for ya. iv never heard more bullshit in my life. BUUUUULLLLSHIIIITTTT. awful
Im a "Smart fan" hopefully, and i knw i need 2 support the company by buying merchandise so i do buy alot of WWE, TNA PPVs and when ROh cumz out on PPV here damn str8 il pay for that as well, ryt now the only thing i can do is buy ROH dvds thru the merchandise (which i do) so my thing is if u want ur voice 2 be heard by WWE and shit u guys need 2 buy their PPVs and shit
I don't think that the main reason WWE doesn't "listen" to "smart" fans is because of streaming and whatnot. It's CASUAL fans that make up the majority of WWE's fanbase.
Bottom line: In the eyes of the WWE, Casual fans>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Smart Fans
as for JBL, I think the JBL gimmick's the best thing to happen to'em character wise, but as sloppy as he may be or as he thinks he is, he's an awesome heel & underrated in the ring
I understand and can see where your coming from, but in my opinion he just had way better matches as Stone Cold. Maybe he was more athletically fit as Stunning Steve but he didn't have the kind of matches he would later have.
Yes, i would certainly consider him a tremendous talent prior to the neck injury. Hell, even some of his matches after his neck injury were very well done and extremely sound. His bouts with Jericho and Benoit are shining examples of how well he worked through his neck injury. But still, I wouldn't consider him the top 15 American wrestlers of the late 90's, based purely on wrestling ability.
TexasFight1991-No no no, you got it wrong. The point is that most guys who consider themselves "smart fans" never support certain companies. What I'm saying is; I fell it's dumb for some guy to expect companies to listen to them when they don't even support the company.
Why would we do that? Especially myself who has also openly admitted to viewing events on streams.
The difference between us and the others is, at some point we're putting in big money for these companies - especially MB, who has purchased hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from TNA in recent months.
Simple, I spend my money on merchandise, TNA ppv's, and tickets for shows (WWE and PWG), but excuse me if I don't feel like paying $40 a PPV of the WWE, kinda feel like saving my money and use it for something else. I already wasted a good $100 on stuff this year. So for saying that I don't pay for shit, fuck off.
i'd have to disagree with the Austin comments. when he got injured by Owen, his WRESTLING skills eroded yes, however, he had one of the best CAREERS of all-time.
probably one of the top 15 american wrestlers of all-time when you evaluate his career.
I certainly wouldn't rank Austin in the top 15 if only looking at his WWE career, like most Attitude Era fans do. Their views are skewed and limited to only the product they enjoyed during the time frame they enjoyed it in.
The problem, again, is the Attitude Era fans are just rejecting this current product because it doesn't target them the way it used to.
Hey Mike, people are calling Austin the greatest wrestler of all time because of his character, has to be the biggest joke I've ever heard. Hell, 3/4 of his fanbase probably don't know about some of the classic matches he had or was apart of (WarGames in 1992 rings a bell in my head) in the NWA and WCW.
The same can be said about The Rock as well. People wanna call him a great wrestler because of his character. Please.
I liked Austin and Rock, but I never go over the hill and call them the greatest of all time cause unlike them, I KNOW of wrestlers who were so much better than them.
My last piece has to be about dadirtywhyteboi's comments on Cena turning heel. AGREED COMPLETELY.
People complain about Cena that he can't wrestle, shoved down our throats and all of that crap. And we're to believe that a heel turn would make Cena wrestle and go away. YEAH RIGHT.
And if Cena did turn heel, the only person that would fill the role as the babyface would be........Triple Politics. And who the hell would wanna see him on top again?
They were banking on his publicity as a bad boy in the NFL - shame that Michael Vick ended up getting more press for his issues with dogs while Jones gets away with being some douche that beats on women.
Not to mention the crimes that Mike Tyson commited totally pale in comparison to the crimes Pacman Jones commited. Pacman makes Tyson look like a Nobel Peace Prize winner in my opinion
Opinion, and seeing as we don't dabble in debating people based upon opinion, but rather on facts, we avoid talking about the quality of the show as everyone has different tastes for shows, and would view that show differently from others.
Wow - so you're stating that we recorded this conversation today, as opposed to it being recorded the other night along with Part 1 and Part 2 of this same discussion.
So sayeth my troll, then it must be true. We all wasted our Friday night around this video, yourself included, you ultra fucking loser.

I love how the majority of Cena haters *cough PsPower* are massive Hogan fans. And don't Hogan & Cena seem to share a similar gimmick?

You know what was so funny about this Pacman Jones thing?
TNA fanboys claimed that this was like the WWF bringing in Mike Tyson for WrestleMania 14. It's the Attitude Era all over again.
HA!!!!!!!!! Pacman Jones wishes he had the star power that Mike Tyson was back then, and still is.

I'd put WrestleMania 23 on a higher degree than WrestleMania 9 and 11, ESPECIALLY 11.
But no, you're probably stuck at the Attitude Era to spoil yourself.
