Love how these tea-bag, seccessionist windbags get all up-in-arms now that there is a black democrat in office. They don't mind torture, wire-tapping, or no longer having a right to a trial. But god forbid regulations and taxes!
One key aspect of nullification is freeing state citizens from Federal taxes....that's the point the US armed forces goes marching in....we are all screwed.
yeah, exactly, but with Texas, we have a lot of the defense industry and I'm pretty sure that the TX National Guard, is the biggest of any of the states. Plus, 90% of the citizenry has at least 5 guns and a pile of ammo, I don't want it to go there but if they take it there I'd be at the front of the line to go fight
I looked it up and there are 21 states that have either drafted bills reminding the Federal Gov'ment of their voluntary submission under the Tenth Amendment of their right to sovereignty, or governors who have passed laws already. If I am not mistaken, this was one of the last bills passed by Sarah Palin before she stepped down as governor of Alaska. Re SeaWarriorSon, I wonder if the bills that have become law can be recinded or nullified sovereignty by Barky's crooked administration.
I like where it's going to. Separatism or secession in order to escape from under traitorous oligarchy in DC seems like the only option at this point. Unfortunately, I've heard that the Obama administration is working on plans to nullify all state constitutions (absolute Federalization). If that were to come to pass, NH's article 10 won't be worth the paper its printed on.
That chick chiming in was kind of annoying there around 7:10, but I do like where this is going. New Hampshire passed a bill saying that if another Unconstitutional law is passed, they can declare sovereignty. Will it happen? Who knows. Maybe you crazy Texans will be the fuse.
as one of the "crazy Texans" I sure as hell hope so. I'm surprised that New Hampshire is standing up for the constitution, I figured that most of the people up there were far enough left to not care
up here in nebraska you got quite a few supporters of nullification
