Half-Life and Half-Life 2 (and the continuing Episodes One and Two) are the best shooters ever made. Truly cinematic experiences.

Do yourself a big favor and play Half-Life 2. Bite the bullet with the controls just to experience the game. You won't regret it.

Guilty Gear X2 is one of the best 2D fighters ever.

same here, i prefer Slash for PS2 and Judgment for PSP cuz it is easily the most balanced engine of GGXX games.

Accent Core wasn't anything new, just Force Break, a counter system that doesn't take away the stun meter.
