Es heißt nicht einfach Wachbataillon. Ob 1. oder 8. Wachbataillon, die Ziffern stehen für die Kompanien, wobei es zu meiner Zeit nur 7 gab, hieß es dann stets, 7. Wachbataillon beim Bundesministerium für Verteidigung
