When I go to Japan every summer, I feel at least 2 earthquakes per time I go there, and those are only the ones I feel, really, you do not want to wake up whilst an earthquake occurs, its really terrifying
dude atleast u slept through lol haha i was awake and dint feel it but my family up stairs ran down and said wats going on with out me nowin wat ther talkin about lol
something like this happened to me.... there was a HUGE THUNDER and everyone in my town woke up EXCEPT ME. i had a friend sleep over and he was talking to me and i didnt respond so he thought i was asleep. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT I MISSED
Daniel, for the next earthquake, if it is high enough on the richter scale, make sure you put a new, sealed piece of equipment on your desk with the video camera rolling. The shaking will make a 'hands-free' unboxing video! Remember, no quakes in south Florida, but you'll have fun ducking the hurricanes, and I don't mean the baseball team.
OMG!!!! I felt it too, I noticed my lamp shaking for about 4 seconds. But I thought it was just me walking quickly around my bedroom. OMG, my first earhtquake. I didn't know it actually happened until I saw this video. I thought it was just me. Thanks =)
Danny i've slept through 2, there was the one ages ago in birmingham, I slept though that too!!! I really want to see what its like lol... oh well... :-(
danny, think you might mean me (guy from clee) woke up at 1am with the whole house shaking down. sh*t myself, half asleep didn't know what was going on, thought conoco had blown up..again. my friend is building a house in market rasen, he had the chimney built yesterday, half of it fell down last night!
I felt it, half awake with the dog barking but thought I was dreaming or something.. I'm in derby, a 2 hour drive from Grimsby and I think it was in Scotland too? Not sure.
I thought someone was trying to break into the house. It's mad though, cos people in countries that actually get proper earthquakes are probably laughing. Places get these kind of tremors regularly, and then big quakes. If by some freak of nature we actually got a proper quake, we'd know about it. I'm sure there are people who suffer quakes and would gladly swap the damage they cause for a few chimneys falling off 80 yr old buildings. Mad eh?
It was a really wierd exspierience, im in south yorkshire,i woke up and the whole house was shaking, my bed was moving and i nearly fell off i was like, omg an earthquake in the UK??! I cant belive so many people felt it though, and how high it was on the richer scale! There was an after shock a 4.00 too, i heard, but no one could of felt that because the magnitude was only 1.5, that isnt enough to wake.
Also, we do have earthquakes like 3 times a week in the UK, just to small magnitude to feel.
im in london and at 1am my bed shook and window made funny noise, scared the shit out of me...im in the south of london and my whole bed shook scaryyyyy
I am in london and I didn't hear no earthquakes down here! maybe just north part of England they always get floods, wouldn't surprise me if they got earth quakes up there. so glad i am down here hahahaha
I didn't feel nothing but something woke me up, we heard an earthquake in my area a few years back that woke me up and i fell over lol, also where i am were get tornado's and im in the UK.
Lmaoo that bastard woke me up! my wardrobe doors clanged together and i thought someone was breaking in! so i went downstairs and looked outside, nothing. Then i went updstairs n my mum says it was an earthquake, i was like..we don't get them in the UK? YOU DO NOW!! i was like "its 1 o'clock in the fucking morning, i have college in 5 and a half hours...WHY IS THIS STUPID FUCKING PLANET SHAKING! some of us have an exam tomorrow!" eurgh stooopid planet *grrr*
i was playing f.e.a.r on the xbox, its a horror game and was at a really intense moment and all went quite, then the quake started shaking the house and i nearly shat myself
I live 10 miles east of Birmingham and I felt it, I had just got into bed, my gf (already asleep) slept though it too lol. , oh if you want to add me to xbox live friends my gamertags Madds1973
lol very funny its hppn to me as well sorta once it was a fire alrm for me but it was only false alarm so i got to train my self to wake to loud noises lol
