  • @EllCEx Oh yeah! Poo... I forgot!

  • oww i lived in dubai for 3 years and watching this made me so sad !! i wanna go back ! anyways love you guys <3

  • Tan is lucky she was with a GUY. I was in Dubai a few years ago...as a single female. Definitely disappointing...got very poor service in expensive places. I was careful to wear high necklines and covered up my arms, as we were advised to do! I know not every female visitor does that and perhaps, some of the modern citizens are more accepting of single female guests.

  • How cool was the camel ride!....Tan looks like she was fried

  • Thats right down the street from my dads apartment, thats called Jumeirah Beach Residence

  • @axlary Your dad lives there?! No way! That's so cool!

  • @vlogswithjim Yea he does, Hes an executive for GE energy and they moved him there like 4 years ago. He lives in the Al Fattan Towers on JBR

  • god looks amazing!X

  • looks amazing!:)

  • you must tell us where you actually stayed...i plan on going to Dubai and would love to find an amazing Hotel like that!

  • This a question for Tanya more so than you Jim but nevermind! Did you find you had any clothing regulations while you were there? My parents are going in October and have been told by their hotel that there are regulations, for example my mother's knees and shoulders must be covered at all times (except for around the pool!). Did you find anything like this?

Also anyone from Dubai who can give me some info on clothing that'd be great! :D x

  • @rooneedstoast I've lived in Dubai all my life. It depends on where you're heading. Hotels and bars expect foreigners, so clothing regulations don't always apply there. If you were going to the older, historic parts of Dubai (bazaars or souqs), definitely dress as conservatively as you can- no shoulders, midrif or knees. Most other places, the same is advisable but you can get away with certain things. A tank top but not a cami, a skirt above your knees but no short-shorts- that sort of thing.

  • @rooneedstoast i live in dubai,, clothing requaltions things are activated in any place in the UAE except dubai xD. but of course you cant get naked near the pools or the beach lol

  • @rooneedstoast she doesn't have to be completely covered, she can expose her knees and shoulders if she wants to but still remain in respectful attire :]

  • @rooneedstoast you can wear anything, as long as you are not wearing bikini on streets. you can wear shorts with a tank top and thats ok. Just do not make out in public (unless you are in a bar or a nightclub). So many tourists get sentenced into jail just for kissing -.-

  • @rooneedstoast this is the first time ive heard about such a thing especially bec. dubai is such an international community

  • @rooneedstoast there aren't strict regulations at all but it is respectful to cover your knees and shoulders when going out to like malls and stuff

  • When I saw this in my Subscrition box I was like OMG YAY!

  • OMG im from dubai! :D soo glad that you liked my country and i really hope you guys will visit again :D

  • I want to go there now! The aquarium made me feel a little queasy (only just able to go through the tunnels now) but I really want to see that. What hotel was it?

  • I went on the desert safari when I visited Dubai last year, loved it!! This made me want to go back so much!!

  • great video, thanks for sharing your experience!! :) And btw, could you ask Tan very kindly whether she would mind making a video about her experience at London fashion week, and what she had to do and all her impressions? Would be highly appreciated!!! Much love from Germany, julia! <3

  • I went to Dubai this summer to see family...and I saw that fountain show too :)

  • You are soo lucky :O

  • @GleeLoverx97 I know! It was so incredible!

  • oh my god that looks absolutely stunning! my face was completely jaw-dropped throughout, looked like you managed to fit quite a few things into your short trip :) how did you plan the mini excursion into the desert?!! did you plan it beforehand or was it a somewhat spontaneous adventure?! your very own driver and everything. thanks for showing us dubai's beauty!

  • @francesjasmine It was so cool! The desert trip we booked through the hotel the day before.

  • Absolutely beautiful!!!

  • awws this reminds me of when I used to live in Dubai! I miss it :(
