It depends on your rendering output when you are processing the video if you are using a video editing program like movie maker or vegas.

If you are just uploading straight up from your camera's raw footage, you might want to put the setting up for HQ/HD before you record.

PS: I think HMX made it so that you cannot mute the vocals since they were aiming for "Beatles Authenticity" this time around, the same reason they removed the concept of the drum fills when playing the drums in game. So, you can't mute the voice of the singer, but you can at least lower it.

Hmm... for the issue of singing louder than the game, did you try turning down the vocals on the song the WHOLE WAY, and the mic sensitivity the whole way up?

It won't allow you for this game. It has the option of making it a bit lower. But I guess it is their way of protecting copyright or what not. I haven't try turning the sensitivity all the way up tho. I'll give that a whirl next time ^_^ Thx :D

From what I've come up with, the reason you can't eliminate the original vocals all the way, is that when these songs were originally recorded, everything was recorded as a whole. No track for just guitar, drums, vocals etc, everything was on one. That was the only technology they had. And it's a looong process to weed out the vocals from a track like that, so the best they could do was turn it down.
