Besides, I also heard that there are more Taiwanese would attend the Kagyu Monlam this year, I welcome all of you to come and join in the Kagyu Monlam, through this way we offer the beneficial aspiration to the World, and may we have some contribution to our society. I believe that we will have a meaningful life if we could do such things.

Also, the ritual of Samgha and the book of the prayers will be revised in the Monlam, hence, people would have more profound understanding and feel the blessing of the sacred site and the dignity of Buddhism, which is my greatest wish!

I would like to talk about a coming soon Kagyu Monlam a little bit, Kagyu Monalm, in this year, we will have some special programs, such as the practice (Puja) of Akṣobhya-buddha, in which we offer the prayers for the departed and sentient beings from the hungry ghost realm, hoping that they will be free from suffering and be reborn in a pure land.

Also there will be changes in the content of the sangha's chanting & ?? (sorry can't figure out waht is it). HH also heard that quite a number of Buddhists from Taiwan will be joining the monlam. HH welcomes them to come to this holy site to pray for world peace & adds that life becomes more meaningful if one contributes to society.

Umm...it's not easy to translate this video. Pls pardon me for omitting certain parts as I can't figure out some of His Holiness' words...
Basically, HH wishes everybody 'safe' & auspicious' (translated directly from mandarin). He then goes on to talk about some of the changes in this year's monlam e.g. prayer for the departed and sentient beings from the hungry ghost realm, hoping that they will be free from suffering and be reborn in pureland.
