  • anyone know the name of the song and the artist?? thank you!!

  • Visit my new lingerie website: sirenssecrets.co.uk

I stock corsets, dresses, babydolls, lingerie and dress up outfits. They are top quality garments all at really great prices. You will not be disappointed!

  • .." and 'marriage-able'..

    ;p

  • Also: I never said people shouldn't wear corsets. Just don't ignore hard biological facts, and maybe try to fit some back strengthening exercises into your exercise routine, to make sure your spine is properly supported and protected by your muscles, not just by your corset. Your back won't go floppy in a year, obviously, but it might in 5 or 10 or 15. Why wait until it becomes a serious chronic problem? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...

  • I'm not judging, I think people should do what they want, but I also think they should make informed decisions. It is a FACT that unused muscles will weaken. Take women wearing neck rings - the rings support their head, so their neck muscles don't have to. If the rings are removed, the muscles are atrophied from lack of use, and need strengthening for the women to be able to keep their head up. Same thing with corsets supporting your back. Weak muscles don't hurt unless you work them out...

  • How can you people judge corseting before you have even tried it? What about tattoos and piercings these days? Fashion changes but people have different interests. I wear corsets all of the time, i just bought 3 more, and many people look at me like im a freak. Well, isn't shooting ink into your skin freaky too? Its what each of us like, we dont have to agree with each other. If you want to simply put people down because they are different, do it somewhere else.

  • It scares me that people talk about corsets giving you back support. Yes, they support your back and visually enhance your posture, but if you rely on your corset to do that, then your own back muscles will gradually weaken and worsen your non-corset posture.

Use them for fashion, sure, but strengthen your back muscles rather than relying on props to give you good posture...

  • @Silverflame283

that is a misconception. around middle age your muscles begin to weaken anyway. Ive been wearing a corset for almost a year now and i dont go floppy when i take it off. And with "they support your back" they mean it keeps you from slouching and encourages you to stand up straight. I wear my corset because i love the way it feels, like someone is hugging me all of the time. It doesnt hurt its not painful if it were id take the damn thing off. Dont judge it before you try it.

  • I would absolutely love a corset and get my body into that hour glass shape, but not much more than it already is. I'm totally going to buy one in the future!

  • 0:37 O.O HOLY CROW!

  • @HorziLuva

That picture has been tampered with. Women back then didn't actually get their waists to be THAT small. If you look closely, you can see that it has been covered up a bit :]

  • @QueenOfDarkness665

They actually did get their waists to be that small, that is if you had money for a maid. Women couldnt dress themselves because of the layers and corsets. Women of wealthy families would start training as young as three years to get that small waist Many women were married off around age 16 so that gives you a good 13 years to reduce your waist. A wasp like silhouette was considered fashionable. It was also thought men should not know the true form of a women until marriage.

  • Can anybody please tell what song this is? I'm googling myself silly and I can't find it. I really want to know!

  • @Chajagirl I'd like to know, also. I tried looking for a very long time as well and can't find anything. If you ever find out, would you mind replying to me so I can know, too? Thanks.

  • Not unlike footbinding, we should not force an archaic ideal into having women deform themselves for beauty. However, when worn without the risk, I find the corset to be very attractive.

  • girl im linda i so want one can you help me

  • yeah

i have a little waist... is awesome

but that makes normal clothes fit weir and big... and ugly

so nothing but a corset fit in your shape...

  • so its pretty much like a lady's helping bra lol

  • my (big fat) stomachs feels uncomfortable watchig this :S

  • I wear corsets, not only as a fashion statement but i like them and they are typical in my dressings. (i dress in a goth matter) but i also wear them because if they are fit correctly they help if you have back pain. With it on i can stand on hard concret in heels for a whole day and not have any back pain. without it i can barely stand in heels for two hours.

  • I wish I could meet her and have her make one for me :) That would be wonderful

  • one question... wouldn't that be kind of.. akward to wear?

Not to be rude or anything to people who do wear them, but im confused, do you wear it under your clothes or over them almost as a shirt? It just seems kind of chunky to be wearing all the time.

  • @TheKatt16 Now-a-days it is mainly worn on the outside i believe for fashion purposes

  • What if you have huge hips and thighs?

    do they still work?

  • i luv to where corsets but they can be a major ouch.

  • What is the name of this song?

  • She states she does not wear her corset in the summer because it is hot and if it is painful to losen the strings. Sorry I just wear my Body Magic all year round and i can sleep in it and be comfortable and do not need training to wear a Garment

  • @LoveableResa1 Actually, what she said that in hotter days she tends not to wear them, but that she still wears them just about every day. She also said that she lives in Canada... it's unlikely that she's going to be hot the entire summer over there.

About the pain, what she said is that it's painful if you tighten your corset too much too fast. If you go slow, corsets are actually very comfortable, more so than elastic body shapers.

  • @anyjen Late June-the end of August gets very hot and humid in southern Ontario as well. (usually between 20-30 degress celuis). Calgary also gets into the 20's celius but its not as humid there.

The areas with higher populations in Canada tend to get warm in the summer, the areas that don't get as hot are the maritimes and northern areas. Air conditioning is a wonderful thing.

I agree with everything esle you said :) I just wanted to point that out.

  • Corsets are awesome.

  • What was that song called? Who sang it?

  • 0:38 ouch

  • I make corsets as well and there is nothing like wearing one that is fit to you! You feel like the most powerful person alive! You do have to be careful with wast training though. If you get your waist to small your body comes to depend on the corset for support. I have read about people braking there backs when they took the corset off.

  • the problem here is that the clip of the news report which talks about damage from internal organs and compromised lung capacity - this is TRUE _ BUT! - only if and from Tight Lacing

this requires years of waist training, tight lacing and progressivly smaller corset waist sizes.

the people who suffered like this did not wake up over night like that

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where can i buy those corsets?

  • @SiostraFaustyna22 look at the info next to the vid

  • I just bought a corset...i lace it to my actual shape... I would never want my waist to be tiny..I love my figure..even though i'm a size 16!

  • @cheekylotte in pants?Im a 15 in skinnies.in skirts in a 13..

  • @realrouge87

as long as you are comfy with what you look like it doesnt really matter what size you are...but i dont like wearin skinnies anyways xD

  • I'd want to wear a corset one time for like 45 seconds just to say that I wore one. But I wouldnt want to change my waist

  • OMG were is she at i really want to try it lol

  • 0.36 is just ridiculous

  • totally :O

  • well if it reduces the waist size, wouldnt your waist go back to its normal size when you take it off??

  • No, it does not go back to normal, it slowly bends your ribs into the size you want your waist, my cousin is someone like the last in this video, my cousin waist is about 7 inchs, and she can go with out a corset, her waist and anybodies waist will stay the size they want it after a while

  • there is no way her waist is 7 inches the smallest waist ever was 13 in

  • Very sensual, but after a point it becomes grotesque. Part of the art is knowing how far to go and have it still look good, not deformed.

  • EXACTLY!

it can be attractive when it further emphasises a womans curves,.bt some ppl dont know when to stop! (ie: Cathie Jung!) terrible!

  • I think Dita Von Teese has the perfect shape.

  • @19darnoc52 part of art is going to far :)

  • can i run you to the store real quick?

cause i think i need to buy you some underwear.

do you prefer saggy or briefs? sir.

  • There's a point where you have to realize when you are using the corset to shape your body how you want it, and when the corset is shaping you...

I use mine to help me prevent overeating...which has helped me lose weight...but once my old clothes fit me again, I will not lace quite as tightly anymore.

  • Deng.

    HEEECKA Crazyy!

  • Comment removed

  • kayjo101

they don't i lace up all the time and im fine ^-^

it just makes your ribs more flexable, which is acctually good because if you were to be punched or hit on the side your ribs would move with impact rather than just shatter

  • corsets are dangerous when you wear them that tight....i saw an xray of a woman on tyra...her organs had shifted up into her chest...i love corsets, but i wouldn't waist train.

  • OOh i have one^^

    *happy look*

I love it, but it's actually hard to breath and to move with it^^, still it looks gorgeus

  • That looks painful o.0

  • When a corset is fitted and worn properly, it isn't painful at all. It takes getting used to (you have to learn how to move in it and breath properly) but it should never be painful. If it is painful, you're wearing it wrong, or you have the wrong size for you.

  • music please

  • esto luce un poco doloroso...

  • вапще красиво но блин ужс - так утягиваться - это уже паранойя.

  • I wonder, do you make corsets for emilie autumn?

  • @XxBloodyCrumpet23xX

Emilie Autumn makes all her corsets for herself and her Bloody Crumpets as well as all of the rest of the outfits they wear. She is one multi-talented lady :)

  • Hmm, no, I'm pretty sure that Vecona is the one making their outfits? I know that she has made -some- of them, atleast. Though it wont surprise me if Emilie herself has made some of the outfits/the corsets.

  • Wow.. and i thought wearing super high heals was bad, hahaha

  • i want one!

  • ohmygod 0:39 thats just unatural and ugly. if sumone looked like that today they would get made fun of and i mean thats just gross. yuk. (but some of the other ones are pretty) but thats just gross

  • I agree, I think there's a line you have to draw somewhere.

  • can anyone tell me what song this is and or who sings it

  • those corsets are beautiful, but coming from a chinese cultural back ground i find the similarity between corsets and foot binding astonishing, especially the social implications.

  • love corsets! though I wouldn't pull my waist THAT small... thats freaky

  • I love them... it's like a permanent hug and makes your body look great :)

  • could never do it... EVER

  • I love Victorian fashion but I'm pretty disturbed by how far people take corset fashion in this video - especially knowing what we know today (that they crush internal organs) I would think that would deter people from going to such extremes...But maybe that's just me.

  • 0:41 wow!! that must be like a 5 inch waist!

  • I'm trying to lose weight so I can look better in my corset. Corsets themselves are beautiful but it's disturbing when you see someone with the waistline of Jabba The Hut tearing it apart by the seam just by wearing it.

  • haha omg that is so true!...im trying to lose weight myself..for my corset..lol

    Good luck to you!

  • i luv how the corset iz very sexi but ur still sorta covered up

  • WHERE CAN I GET ONE???

  • If you have a myspace. Exquisite Restraint Corsets have a myspace and a website.

  • don't get "corsets" at Charlotte Russe, Hot Topic, or even Fredericks! those aren't real corsets. they are made out of flimsy plastic boning and don't even cinch your waist.

for starters I would suggest Timeless Trends Corset Designs (timeless-trends . com). elegant, affordable, and of very good quality.

don't forget to wear a corset liner or something sheer underneath a corset if you plan on wearing it under your clothes, or else it will ruin the corset and irritate your skin

  • thanks for the tip! =]

But i was wondering if by any chance you know if you waist train, can it be any corset or does it have to be a waist training corset?

  • It can be with any corset except for the flimsy, plastic-boned ones that are found at malls. Those are just more for fashion and can easily break when tight-laced.

the Romantasy website has more information on waist training

  • oh alright,thank you =]

  • Thanks for the referral!!!

  • oh and of course there's also Lace Embrace! <3

  • whats this song called?

  • Does anyone know the name of the song playing in the background or who sings it?

  • Hmm. Easy to see why he's your ex. And I'm sorry for your pain and his apperant lack of sympathy for your trobles.

  • I've worn corsets since I played Marie Antoinette in a play. I have a 19.5 in. waist, which, actually, isn't surprising, since my waist has always been tiny. So...yeah. I have about...hmm...27, maybe.

  • i just started making my first corset yesterday. its a renaissance era one. i made it for a crossplay, but from what im hearing, ill probably will be wearing it quite often at home.

  • Very painful? I really don't think that should be happening. I don't believe that corsets in general cause any health risk, but they do when it's painful. Sorry for butting in, but when a corset pains you there is something very wrong. O.O

  • Yeah, my corset wasn't 'very painful' when I first wore it, it just made my ribs ache a little.

  • Hi Melanie--I also make & wear corsets. I also have an antique corset collection, but I only have about 40 antique corsets. My favorite from my collection is my 1899 La Grecque Lattice Ribbon Corset--mine is black sateen with red silk ribbons. Looks just like your pink & black one, but mine is red where yours would be pink. I love your corsets, they are lovely. Just wanted to say hello & very nice video. I love wearing & making corsets & always will! Cheers...Sandra

  • Not everyday, but every weekend.

  • I wear corsets because I find them very beautiful. I don't think they're uncomfortable, they give me a very nice silhouette and bust support I can't achieve otherwise. When I wear a corset, I feel more confident than I usually do and I stand up straight (I have a tendency to slouch) All in all I wouldn't go back to not wearing corsets again.

  • I am thinking about wearing a corset and some advice. I heard today's corsets are that bad but back in the Victorian Age women wore their corsets so tight that they fainted and had health issues. At 35 seconds that is just sick. I can see why women may wear them now but not back then. My point is that today corsets are more comfortable than the one's in the Victorian age. Remember that it really doesn't matter about the shape of your body or if you slouch it's personality that matter :).

  • Corsets are painful and they deform your inner organs... but I love what it does to my stomach! I'm naturally skinny, but I still wear one.

  • i love girls in corsets, my gf laced me in one for fun and it cinched my waist in like 5 inches, it felt very erotic

  • Corsets are incredible! Love those bare shoulders and arms!

  • Very nice corsets, thanks.

  • OMG at 40 seconds... that's WAY too skinny, but most of these look really nice

  • I really just love women in corsets. Very nice video. Thank you for sharing.
