water does not have its highest energy content at 4 degrees (quite obviously, since hotter water contains more energy) and it is not the only liquid that gets less dense as you freeze it. This guy just makes up stuff as he goes along.

The Chipco Movement in India proved this concept by spiking trees with metals spikes to make the chainsaws stop.
