I bought my third bass guitar at this place and of course Manny's Music where I bought my 1st & 2nd. I do feel you when you mention G C in Hlwd on Halendale beach Blvd. where I got $1,800
for some good old guitars new box peddles & mics. I can't help to feel that everything had to be worth at least $5,000 or more, for them to give me that much. They lost what music is for and fell into the business world where money is there god. Peace
So, you CAN just pick any of these up and just plug in and play? I knew you could at the one in Hollywood, but hadn't seen much about the one in Manhattan. I'm going there in a couple of months, and didn't want to get my hopes up if I couldn't play one.
One of my favorite places on the planet! WAAAY better than the Guitar Center in Hollywood. The original Sam Ash on Long Island used to be pretty incredible too. I don't know WHY, but most places are all setup to just RIP people off nowadays - they give you NOTHING for your old gear and then want MORE than RETAIL when you try to buy it yourself.
God that makes me mad HaHa. You live that close to a place like that!!! Must be reallllllyyyyy fun man! I live near one here but its NOTHING at all like this one and the Hollywood one, its like just a little toy store compared to lthis one HaHa. Its still the best place I have ever been to and I go there often and just Rock for like 5 hours. Its cool that they don't mind.
