  • I missed this one. (I love dim sum) Hmmmm. Interesting with the red dot. They make me think a little of my Princess tarts with the half cherry on the top. I can just smell them all the way from here. - roc

  • @popparoc46 They do smell so good :)

  • I'd be tempted to stick an almond in that hole, but some Chinese Nationalist would probably come and get me.

Happy Kung Fu Fat Albert to you too.

  • @anmoose A lot of people do that, actually... In fact, if you buy it in the package they are selling at Walmart, there they are. i find that kinda weird, you know?

  • :0)

  • @1DRock37167 :))

  • Oh, yummo! Almond cookies are my favorite kind of cookie. I love homemade ones but totally dislike the ones they sell in China Town. Kung Hee Fat Choy, Beth!

  • @MouseChirpy I agree... they don't taste very good-very hard and seldom taste like almond

  • Happy Lunar New Year. =]

  • @Knvtran Thanks!

  • How did it compare to the recipe you had tried in the past. I am a huge Chinese almond cookie fan :)

  • @ToriSterling Darn it, my comments are not sticking. This almond cookie was miles better than the one I had from before!

  • Those look really good ! I will put those on my list to try :) Have a great weekend !

  • @TheChattagirl Hey, make it for the guys at your hubby's work!

  • You suppose you could use other flavorings instead of almond flavor? I dont have any of that but walnut. These look delicious!!!!

  • @Elvis66 where did you get your walnut flavoring? A friend of mine posted a vid asking for that and I can't find it. But pretty much if you add any other flavoring other than almond, you'd get whatever that is lol. raspberry, lemon, strawberry, rootbeer, walnut..yeah. It would work, just not be almond cookies

  • @CookingAndCrafting Beth, I got my flavoring from amazon.com. this is the company or store I got i from: MARSHALLS-CREEK-SPICES-WALNUT-FLAVORING. I bought it for Christmas and it is rather good. Hope this helps. thanks for the videos. I was going to send a message to you but you have the friends block on but thats ok I can post it here. ;-) thanks for the videos!!!

  • @Elvis66 thanks, I will go check it out! :)

  • could you place a cherry in the center instead of food colouring? i loveee almond and cherrys! :P thanks for the recipe, i'll be sure to try it :D

  • @oxRACH333Lxo definitely add that cherry!

  • Kung Hee Fat Choy right back at ya. They are yummy. : )
