From Wikipedia: Kingdom Hearts coded was remade for the Nintendo DS under the title Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. Unlike its original, the game was released overseas and contains all the episodes in one game rather than being periodically released like its predecessor. Almost everyone owns a DS system by now and they guessed it would sell big, especially when more advanced DS systems are coming out.

Eh. As a Kingdom Hearts fan, I'm willing to buy every game they come out with. Not because I'm obsessing, but because I want to be able to say "Yep. I've played that one. It's good/bad/whatever." instead of wondering what I should choose. And honestly, saving money for Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't necessary since it doesn't have a release date right now. So in my opinion, it's worth the buy simply to say I have it. Isn't that expensive anyway. :/ It's for the DS anyway.

well, basically just another unnecessary expansion to the story line due to future unlinked plots. Nomura never intended for the first game to be this popular. square enix and disney are just putting the missing pieces together for the story line. so not rele worth the purchase, same with chain of memories.

I could argue about the KH games all day, but I agree with other people. Square Enix usually ALWAYS seems to sneak something really important into all of the games, so I might buy it anyway. They have their advantages and disadvantages, although I think it sucks that it's coming out on cell phones. I'd rather it be on a console or something, but that's just me!

Spoiler* The secret Ending in Re:Coded shows Yen Sid and Mickey. Yen Sid tells Mickey to fetch Riku and Sora so they can take there Mark of Mastery exams so basically thats what KH3d is going to follow because Nomura said Kh:Re COded would connect to 3D also in the end of Coded they find out the whereabouts of Ventus and we also discover whats in the letter Mickey sent Sora which basically says he has to go back to save the people who are still sad basically ppl connected 2 his heart Terra etc

Well, KH:Coded was originally a mobile phone game so not many people know it's true intent in the series.It occurs after the second Kingdom Hearts and it mostly deals with chasing a remnant of Roxas in a computer terminal in Hollow Bastion.It's basically like KH:COM where you're reliving the events of the first game but only a little differently.The message "Their torment has been lessened" refers directly to the protagonists of Birth by Sleep.Hope that helped. :D
