I am trying to get a friend of mine to friend you on Face Book(you are there,right?)His name is Charlie Campagna and like you he is a very serious percussionist and very much into Latin drumming(for lack of a better word)He went to Cuba to study their style.
It was very cool being able to watch you playing close up,where I could actually see what your hands were doing.

Yes, I graduated in 1980. I think Lane Tech was really important in my development as a musician (even if I was not a 'model student'). I always look back and laugh, because many people (including some Lane music teachers) warned me not be a freelance musician, but I didn't listen. Now I know how hard it actually is...I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're REALLY INTO MUSIC (which I am).
This music remind me the great Lyle mays' first album, Sir :)
