Wtf? You gave this pice of shit a 7? The multiplayer is glichy as hell and to many noobs spam gernades and I have never played a single game with out some one hacking. If you have a wii and want a FPS then just play metroid prime. You might not get multiplayer but at least you get a good game.

I had the same problem when I just got it, I was so angry with it, I felt like breaking the disk... it was that bad!
But I did some adjustments to the controls, and now it's alot easier...
and if you just wanna play through the game without to much problems (witch I must admit I did)... just grind on weak guys, let them spawn from there egg sags, and kill them all, If you have 1000 Kills you've unlocked infinite ammo... With that cheat, you are much more likely to survive...
i love my ps3 but i only really play bad company 1 on it because i dont like modern warfare. but i have a wii which is my primary console so im gonna get golden eye 007 and conduit 2
Is it true that you can't destroy the environment? Being able to destroy the environment adds to the fun of a shooter because it adds a little more realism. That's why I liked the Ghostbusters game because you got scored based on how much of the environment you destroy.

The online in this game is almost broken, now, and only halfway playable. Not to mention that it's extremely unbalanced. If he were to review the multiplayer again, then he would give The Conduit a 6/10. Or at least that's what I think it deserves.
Metroid prime 3 still looks best, maybe the best game on the wii too. Atleast I thought it was utterly epic. Conduit was ok.
I do recommend getting an xbox if you want a bigger variety of good games, because I found the only really good games were Zelda, Metroid prime and super smash

Apparently that game also has pretty shit graphics, so I recommend you get COD 4 on the Xbox and COnduit on the Wii. That would be a much better choice.
i plaied CoD4 reflex, CoD5, and the conduit. personally i found grapics on the conduit were much better eye candy then reflex. if you were comparing grapics to the PC version, then yes i would agree...
@hummerh194 i doubt it... they're busy at work on The Grinder now... They're definitely dedicated to perfecting FPS on the Wii, but i think they're expanding to more genres. The next game is a horror shooter.

COD:Reflex is better, but Conduit has better tech. Like wii speak, 6 vs 6 and its impressive engine. COD:Reflex had more options, a longer campaign, arcade mode, more modes and a more robust online. The art design is better for COD:MWR although less techy and overall the graphics are probably a bit better. The online is also smoother. The Conduit is easily worse, but is unique and worth keeping. I have both.
according to gamespot, the game has superb controls, but repetitive gameplay. Come ON!!! We have a few years of bad controls in wii fps's, we finally get something with better controls than other fps's, but a not very appealing core game. How much longer can we WAIT Nintendo? The multi-player is a HUGE factor for a lot of FPS games and I don't think it's any different with The Conduit. I think people should know what to expect before getting the game.
Having looked at most of the comments of people who don't like this game, if you're going to make a "The Conduit stinks" post, please try to be specific of what's bad, don't just say "bad graphics" or "the story was boring". This is too much opinion and not enough fact. Thank you.
Except for the fact that this is a game that people are considering going out and buying, and generally the people who would actually agree/disagree with the the statement "this stinks" have already played the game, while the people who look at the comments looking for information on the game may need more so that they don't just chalk it up to one's personal tastes and make a bad buy. I'm not saying they can't say "the Conduit's bad", but request that actually say what they don't like & why.

I hear ya, I sometimes can't even get into a game; after the screen telling what the game, map, and weapon set are, I come out in limbo or something. Every time I go to play online, it's a 50/50 chance I'll actually get to. When I do though, it's fun.
I reckon The Conduit one of those games that doesn't fair well under the critics. Your immediate impression is of a standard FPS with above average controls. Reviewers are only going to play it for a couple of days and base their impression on that, but this game gets much better in the following weeks. The online multiplayer, for instance, becomes extremely addictive and is a very unique compared to other games at this time (control-wise).
Then don't play it. If you really don't want people to play the Conduit, make a review video of your own where you actually specify why the Conduit stinks. If you don't have any particular reason for not liking it, then it would be best to keep your silence. Thank you.
Um, actually dude the whole game and it's story was just so generic because I have seen it in many other games. Im not implying that a lot of games have the same story but it was boring and already used. The health system thing was like red steel's health system. You'd get hurt so bad then youd have to wait to regain your health which was really fucking annoying. And honestly the graphics looked like an enhanced version of Perfect Dark. Then I bought a 360 with Oblivion and Bioshock.much btr
I'm aware of the fact that the Conduit uses things from many other shooters, and they actually say in the special edition concept art book that they pooled inspiration from other popular shooters. However, I don't concern myself with how generic a system or story is (I think Halo's is just plain stupid, but I still like the game) so long as the gameplay is good. And that's what the Conduit has. I actually like how the health works, it means I don't have to wait until I can find a health pack.
Yeah actually some of the story was inspired from that of Halo. It's another one of those alien/government conspiracy type bull shit story schemes. The goverment helps you then they desert you and go against you or whatever. The Wii control was awesome but besides that It was shit...
Have you played Halo? Halo doesn't have anything about an alien/government conspiracy, so apparently not. Halo's story is stupid to me because of how Halo functions, but, having not watched a lot of conspiracy movies, the story seemed fine and made sense (except for why you owned the aliens but the military couldn't...). I like the graphics and gameplay (and I have played a lot of shooters, I'm not ignorant). It's a decent shooter.

In my opinion the Wii is a great platform for shooters, its just that the only people who know how to make the Wii controls work well is Nintendo. The shooting on the Wii Metroid title was a good shooters in controls, but the game play was sort of bad. The Conduit controls well and was fun to play online. I know most of Youtube retards actually CARE about the graphics; good graphics are nice... but I would rather have a game with amazingly horrid graphics then great graphics with amazing lag.
Yes I can. You can't compare the two games. For a downloadable game, BF1943 is very good so it gets 7. The same goes for Contui. For an FPS it is very good so also gets a 7.
I have this game, and I wasn't that disappointed in it. I just wish that the online play would be fixed a bit because of the lag and glitches. Great review.

the offline is ok but too short, i played thought it about 10 times already
but the online.....theres too many gliches
theres a glich for every stage and weapon gliches ect.
for example, the bunker stage is the worst bc the gliches are so poorly patched, u can walk right into them, no excuse
but it is fun, just needs small fixes

Having looked at most of the comments of people who don't like this game, if you're going to make a "The Conduit stinks" post, please try to be specific of what's bad, don't just say "bad graphics" or "the story was boring". This is too much opinion and not enough fact. Thank you.

Except for the fact that this is a game that people are considering going out and buying, and generally the people who would actually agree/disagree with the the statement "this stinks" have already played the game, while the people who look at the comments looking for information on the game may need more so that they don't just chalk it up to one's personal tastes and make a bad buy. I'm not saying they can't say "the Conduit's bad", but request that actually say what they don't like & why.

Actually yea, now i agree with no shields. But the one thing i kind of hate is the projectiles, theyre kinda of delayed, if they changed that it would be more awesome

The Conduit is terrible First, to all you idiots out there my wii has a great connection and i had terrible lagging and also the story mode gets boring after a while pretty much the only good thing is the controls and graphics my opinion 4 out of 10

i dont know if this is just me. but, when i play online it will freeze.....ALOT. its fun to play. but when you beat campaing an ddo all the cheats you want more. thats why they put the multiplayer i guess. but it glitches alot for me and i was wondering if this happens to anyone else. please reply.

Doesn't happen to me. Maybe you have connection problems which makes it lag...
I came across SOME glitches but they were pretty minor. The online is so smooth for me, and no lag! :)

I hear ya, I sometimes can't even get into a game; after the screen telling what the game, map, and weapon set are, I come out in limbo or something. Every time I go to play online, it's a 50/50 chance I'll actually get to. When I do though, it's fun.

I reckon The Conduit one of those games that doesn't fair well under the critics. Your immediate impression is of a standard FPS with above average controls. Reviewers are only going to play it for a couple of days and base their impression on that, but this game gets much better in the following weeks. The online multiplayer, for instance, becomes extremely addictive and is a very unique compared to other games at this time (control-wise).

Then don't play it. If you really don't want people to play the Conduit, make a review video of your own where you actually specify why the Conduit stinks. If you don't have any particular reason for not liking it, then it would be best to keep your silence. Thank you.

Um, actually dude the whole game and it's story was just so generic because I have seen it in many other games. Im not implying that a lot of games have the same story but it was boring and already used. The health system thing was like red steel's health system. You'd get hurt so bad then youd have to wait to regain your health which was really fucking annoying. And honestly the graphics looked like an enhanced version of Perfect Dark. Then I bought a 360 with Oblivion and Bioshock.much btr

I'm aware of the fact that the Conduit uses things from many other shooters, and they actually say in the special edition concept art book that they pooled inspiration from other popular shooters. However, I don't concern myself with how generic a system or story is (I think Halo's is just plain stupid, but I still like the game) so long as the gameplay is good. And that's what the Conduit has. I actually like how the health works, it means I don't have to wait until I can find a health pack.

Yeah actually some of the story was inspired from that of Halo. It's another one of those alien/government conspiracy type bull shit story schemes. The goverment helps you then they desert you and go against you or whatever. The Wii control was awesome but besides that It was shit...

Have you played Halo? Halo doesn't have anything about an alien/government conspiracy, so apparently not. Halo's story is stupid to me because of how Halo functions, but, having not watched a lot of conspiracy movies, the story seemed fine and made sense (except for why you owned the aliens but the military couldn't...). I like the graphics and gameplay (and I have played a lot of shooters, I'm not ignorant). It's a decent shooter.

sure it wasn't, but it is everything people ask for in a fps: good story, good controlls, online gameplay with wii speak, and as far as i saw no lag online. my type of game.

In my opinion the Wii is a great platform for shooters, its just that the only people who know how to make the Wii controls work well is Nintendo. The shooting on the Wii Metroid title was a good shooters in controls, but the game play was sort of bad. The Conduit controls well and was fun to play online. I know most of Youtube retards actually CARE about the graphics; good graphics are nice... but I would rather have a game with amazingly horrid graphics then great graphics with amazing lag.

Yes I can. You can't compare the two games. For a downloadable game, BF1943 is very good so it gets 7. The same goes for Contui. For an FPS it is very good so also gets a 7.

I have this game, and I wasn't that disappointed in it. I just wish that the online play would be fixed a bit because of the lag and glitches. Great review.
