I agree that R.Block's version is the finest on Youtube,but I disagree with meestersm's analogy.There is more than one way to paint the same object and more than one way to sing the same song.Some of our top song writers(B. Zimmerman,P.Simon,J.D.Souther,­L Cohen) have, at best,a mediocre voice.Also does this mean we don't listen to L.Ronstadt, E.Presley, N.Simone, E.cassidy, R.Flack,simply because they sing "covers".Finally, what do we do about E.John, he sings and writes music but not lyrics?

Anouk is good! She makes me feel the Blues. Rory however makes me feel every nuance of the blues.... the pain, the sorrow, the anger, the frustration....it's all there.... It hits me like a sledgehammer and moves me to tears....

I've been reading about this lady for over twenty years in various guitar publications, but never heard her until now. I wasn't disappointed. This lady is the real deal. This is the epitome of musicianship. One lady sitting down with just an acoustic guitar and her voice. These young fly-by-nights could certainly learn something about perseverance and longevity from this lady. And also about staying true to one's self, instead of forsaking your vision just to sell records.

really love this song, for the musical sound, i love jammin on my LP with ya Rory, love the version on a cd i bought some 15-17 years ago, called "Still got the blues" and soon after i bought "Still got the blues 2"
