  • That's a number -> 1337

  • Don't update iTunes without reading.

  • I remember when this czme out on print... I was using a Unix computer... or I read it in the Principle, or a book on the cartoons, one of them.

  • @BrendanKearnsMusic awesome story bro

  • *random old lady puts on latex gloves from behind chair*

  • Does anyone besides me remember the 2nd cartoon as a 3D CGI cartoon formerly shown on dilbert.com?

  • there's no way that 78 people always read the agreements. 2 in the world maybe and they're autistic so they just do it for fun

  • Don't you hate it when you spell a 9 like a 6?

  • Boss: "You spelled this word wrong."

    Dilbert: "That's a number."

    CLASSIC!

  • EULAs are just as legit as the next virus in your computer.

  • Yoli from JE. The pointy haired boss in this vid is you.

  • After watching the Human Centipad by South Park, and seeing this, I'm going to ALWAYS read the Terms and Conditions now

  • "I have read and agree with the terms of service and EULA" = the biggest lie on the planet. Honestly, who actually reads those things?

  • Lady: Frankly both of us would've been happier if you just walked away.

    (Bruce walks in)

Bruce: Want me to double check?

  • The pointy-haired boss in the second clip is like: "Spare me the facts! I already made up my mind!"

  • Hooray free licensed software.

  • I have had that second conversation.

  • @Hax0rPr0n and find programmer who will do stuff for free and live from that....

  • LMAO .... similar thing happened to me...i gave my boss some reports and the only way he could "bug" me was telling me that I should've reduced the width of the columns on the spreadsheet!!!

  • It don't matter.....its all about who has the deepest pockets.

  • was he talking about google?

  • I prefer BSD/MIT/Public Domain license.

but BSD is kind to the developer, at last it reminds developer's name.

What's the point of releasing free software as stupidly non free (GPL)

GPL = it is free but i am not loosing rights on it,

I can try to claim my rights anytime if i will want,

and later close the source if i want...

so business contribute to BSD versions and not GPL.

later business can claim i choose the gpl mode (LOL).

GPL is just creating problems and less contribution.

  • I don't get why The show was taken off the air, Dilbert is funny as hell.

  • uh oh, we never want to hear the horrible sound of someone putting rubber gloves on, gulp

  • "Thaats a number" LOL

  • BSD license, screw GPL..

  • Em7 - - A Now look at them yo-yo's. That's the way you do it.

You put the software on the BSD...

I want my I want my BSD ♫♪

  • I don't know about you guys but a computer once told me that I spelled the letter e wrong. Even when it was in capitals! How can you spell the letter e any differently!?

  • @julionjulion The computer will usualy tell you you spelled a letter wrong unless it is an acctual word like I or A

  • You spelled a word wrong..

    Thats.. a number

    XD

  • haahahahaha... That was shocking.

  • EULA more or less are that bad....

    GPL for the win!!!

  • @ZerqTM haha, people also blindly agree to GPL without reading it, which is the only reason it is so popular. Ignorance is strength, war is peace, and freedom is GPL.

  • @sparkloweb unlike proprietary licences where every one of them is different, GPL has few versions, you can read it only once for all apps

  • @Vlakpage well the problem is so far software licensing has not screwed anyone over. not anyone i know of anyway. unless ur a corporation with something to lose why would you take time to read dozens of pages.

  • @Vlakpage Sorry, I may have misspoken. By "blindly agree" I was referring to the release of code under the GPL. People claim they want their code to be free, and they hope the GPL will force "users" (other developers) to do the same. But all too often, the code sits and rots on SourceForge because real-world developers cannot just convert their project to GPL. If a license systematically forbids millions of people from using a product how they want to, it's strange to call it free.

  • How many of you out there have had a boss that said something would never work and you figured out how? I have.

  • My PHTM (pointy haired team manager) doesn't have a clue what we do.

  • thats.... a number ;)

  • "It's impossible!" "I already did it."

  • @ 0:27 Who else actually knows someone like that?

  • 0:27 is a black screen...

  • everyone?

  • For the love of God, don't tear the Serta tag on the bed.

  • "Thats a Number, lol"

  • lol i read "it will never work"

  • That end user agreement sounds a lot like YouTube's LOL.

  • and Google's software agreements

  • LMAO at This

  • Are u retarded LOl stupid

  • Your a genius friend please load up more shows. Man I wish my fatass boss was an idot.

  • thats a number

  • Frickn hilarious ^_^ Love Dilbert

  • Always read the User agreements. STOP CLICKING I AGREE BUTTON SO BLINDLY!!!!!

  • They won't say anything like that anyway. I skim through them and it's mostly crap anyway :-)

  • But what if this happened to you?

  • I would laugh

  • @foamyfan231 And then what? Agree anyway? Don't use the software and don't get any work done?

  • @CzarKirk In the license agreement mentioned how are you supposed to use the software. For example oracle solaris are not supposed to be used for personal purposes, softmaker only allows for 3 users, windows are not supposed to be lend to other people, ubuntu you supposed to read all of the licenses first before you use it (that's plenty of licenses to read). Thats if you care to know more on in what way are you breaking the law or are going to break the law.

  • @foamyfan231 Yeah.. read the 10 page essay, then agree.

  • Comment removed

  • It wastes time. You'd be better off just getting right into the file.

  • @foamyfan231 if i had to read the user agreement every time.... id still be with windows 95... just installing word.

  • Yea I did see a little dead girl in my room...I WAS WATCHING TV!!!!!!!!!

  • could there be such a thing as a "boss gene"? :D

  • of course it could control who you become, there is also another thing i heard of its a chemical produced by the brain on whatever kind of behavior we become addicted to and is used to reciveing it and needs to get the same feeling over and over. so some poeple want to feel in contorl all the time.

  • "Well you spelt this word wrong."

    "thats a number"

  • 'spelt' is a bread

  • "that's a number."

  • Pretty accurate representation of some of my old bosses, too.

  • Haha, this sums up Microsoft's Software Licence Agreements to a tee.

  • "NOOOO Bill stop it, stop it ahhhhhhhh it hurts!!!"

  • lol
