  • has to be the best guitarist i've ever heard if not in the top 3

  • 4 people are dead men

  • hooooo!!!!! this is great !! there is no words for this , i been playing the guitar for,10 years , looking at this !!!! i don t' know noting, i am amateurr

  • richtig gut , kann ich mit nichts vergleichen :)

  • It's players like this that will usher in and inspire the new wave of the feeling player. I am so sick of this technical approach of lighting sweeps so fast you can't even make them out anymore. People need to stop looking at players like michael batio and paul gibert for there inspiration and take a trip back in time to guys like schenker, Uli and lynch. not that I don't like any of those guys or that there not still around but I think players should expand there musical pallets a bit.

  • couldn't agree more on that point! it's obvious that if one practices hours on end everyday, theyll be able to play "as fast as possible" but that isn't what music is about. We can develop robots to do that, we can do that with midi programs, but who wants to listen to that music? Music is about the FEELING, the good musician is set apart from the rest because he/she actually feels the music, and inspires feelings in others! They move the population by emotion, not speed! :P

  • Did he release any cd's?

  • @killyoupl nah man I've known about this guy since 2004 and haven't seen any albums :(

  • is that a jem?

  • it`s god playing guitar

  • dude he is good. Very good. But not god, in my oppinion. I just didnt feel his music.

  • not tryina pick a fight... what is it about the music u didn't enjoy?

  • I dont know.... its just kinda sketchy....

maybe thats not the right word... i dont know...

its the kind of thing i respect very much but i simply cant feel it ...

i have -2 in my previous comment, and i dont think that was fair, i was just pointing MY oppinion.

anywas, thanks for the reply :)

  • haha... it WAS a -3 i gave u a +1 cuz i know what u mean... ppl just take shit too seriously and start defending artists as if they themselves wrote the song... not that big a deal... i for one respect ur opinion although i LOVE this song... haha do u play guitar?

  • yes, i do! :)

  • homie ive been playin for one year n ur one of my biggest influenced i want to be jus as good as u and hopefully better one day im bout to start puttin videos up cause from im told im already dam good so hit them up when i get them up

  • in terms of ambience and beauty, this is the closest thing i've ever heard to being on a par with bill frisell.

  • Hmm, well it seems like Bill Frisell uses a looper to get that sound. Not that that's a bad thing, you can make amazing music with a looper and a single instrument, but it's just considerably harder to do without a looper. :)

  • indeed... :-)

  • what a genius

  • sooo tasteful.

  • wow, just.. wow

  • simply beautyfull!

  • if u think stanley jordan is better then this guy..its just ur retarded biased brain speaking.

  • I like your style. It is so unique...And very nice feeling...

  • from 2:48-3:30 is so sick sounds lke castel vania so much its such a beutiful riff i love this guy he is so creative

  • ... and the rest of song isn't too shabby either. Wow.

  • his techniques are just amazing

  • Do any of you guitar buffs know what chords are being played from 1:46-2:00?? Particularly the first 3 from 1:46-1:49. Sounds familiar, but I have no idea what they are.

  • Whoa!!......

  • Amazing originality.

    So creative.

  • Wow... not many guitarists can bring melody, complexity, and sheer nuance all in one.. he brings the guitar alive.. very nice playing.

  • AMAZING, does this guy tour?

  • Great playing technique and great sense of melody. Brilliant!

  • Enjoyed it! Thanks! Great player.

  • I believe he can play the piano >_<

  • at 2:47 is the best part in the video is reminds me of good times,if anyone has played a game called castlemania for playstation 1 they will know what im talking about

  • awsome :) i like the creative use of delay effects! its really fun! :) try it! Ben

  • i almost busted a nut when u picked up that guitar and it was an IBANEZ!!!!!!!!!!! peple that play ibanezes know what they're doing

  • 2 words!

    Stanley Jordan!!!

check him out.. he's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy fuckin' better!

  • yah but ur stanley jordan can't come up with awesome original stuff like Zabek can.

  • If you were a true appreciater of music, you would look past your simplemindedness and realize your in the presence of genious.

  • Are you saying he's bad just because Stanley Jordon's better (that I do agree, though then again it's subjective)? They have different styles anyway-- I hope you're not suggesting that music can be quantified, and that there should only be one musician you listen to.

  • bob zabek u'r the best single hand tapping gytar player i ever said i saw.. you rock

  • everybody! if you liked this check out- Eric Mongrain.

  • thats what you get for listening to so much steve vai

  • check out another triple-guitar player at www.samtriggy.com. A combination of two hands and 1 foot to play guitar.

  • bob zabek is a genius!

    i really love his playing!

check out "the cheyeld in me" !!

  • Insanely awesome.

  • does Bob Zabek play in a band? cause if he is his band is really lucky to have him...REALLY!

  • Very creative.

  • "but music is alot about image too.."

Just STFU and keep watching MTV god damn tard.

  • thx, a fresh approach guitar. Thx again, E

  • nice, don't stop

  • sounds psychedelic

  • that just weird.. but cool

  • I beg to differ, music should, idealy, be one of the few places where image is not even a factor, seriouly, Adrian Belew and Robin Trower look like they were both jumped by an entire fucking ugly-tree orchard and they are both excellent musicians without looking like Punky Meadows.

I'm not even sure how you could even make than connection, something sonic like music does not even touch any visual medium.

    You sure, are a dolt.

  • How is Punky Meadows better looking than Belew and Trower (or most folks for that matter)?

  • It does really. I mean, a good live show is 75% about the music, 25% the visual appeal of a band and their performance. But you're right about image not being the be all and end all. I don't think this guy is trying to appeal to the same audience as razorlight somehow!

  • oh at a live show stage performance is everything, you could be an ok/good band with awsome stage performance and be awsome, and you could be a an awsome band with crappy stage performance and you wouldnt be as liked as band with better stage performance

  • trip, but music is alot about image too.. he looks like he walked out of a trailor park

  • I liked

  • i am unworthy....

  • digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,digital delay,echo,

  • Seen Fripp do this stuff in the mid 70s. There is an album he did with another great that escapes me now? Anyway it was trippy. Eno? Like this.

  • Agree that this man is a virtuoso and has moved beyond merely playin' guitar. Great video of a maestro.

  • This is a >real< virtuoso

  • I MUST LEARN!

  • i think its safe to sat that thats not even a guitar anymore.

  • Brilliant!!!!

  • Darn! These guys make it all look so easy!
