I'm trying to fruck up the business of can flipping, therefore, while mining the good stuff for yourself, jettison only regular cans with junk in them, such as 1 unit of Veldspar per can. You want rat flippers to open them to discover their shit. If enough people do this, can flippers can bet on flipping junk cans at some point. There really is only one solution: never jettison to feed the rats, but profits take more time.
lol, attacking stupid miners that contribute nothing to the game and don't play EVE right. just QQ miners, you're stupid lol, we should drive them out of the game through constant harassment and also run the noobs out so CCP loses money and eventually has to go F@P so more noobs and miners will play so we can run them out too cuz they play wrong and then CCP can close the server woot!
@DreadSouls: You wish. However macro mining is allowed in EULA-Statement 7.A.3 sentence 1. But don't tell. CCP doesn't want the users to know that they do condone macroing.
Maybe you should read the whole sentence before slandering people. I am so nice, i'll post it here for you:
"You may not use macros or other stored rapid keystrokes or other patterns of play that facilitate acquisition of items, currency, objects, character attributes, rank or status at an accelerated rate when compared with ordinary Game play."
The crucial part is "that facilitate acquisiton [...] at an accelerated rate compared with ordinary gameplay". Think about it.
It's impossible to reach even a rate of acquisiton comparable to normal gameplay. Mining Macros usually have only 75% effectivity compared to human jet can mining. Probably one could boost that with ocr or packet inspection, but that's no longer macroing at all.
Generally speaking: Yes. You also might use as much accounts and prolonged online times as you want. However, one has to consider that CCP has the right to kick/ban the user anytime they want. So there might be some unknown CCP-internal rules that apply. I don't have the specific EULA parts handy right now. And i won't look them up now, maybe tomorrow. You just catched me when i was coming home from the club. ;) Gn8.
@DreadSouls What if they are macromining but at their keyboard? Or someone with a programmable keyboard? What about the programmed keymapping already in EVE? CCP doesnt follow their own rules. If I know the guy is a chinese farmer (what happened to them, by the way? Were all over the place 2 years ago) I have no problem with this. I predict youll see the American Disabilities Act generalize some new technology, and a handicapped gamer kid will get the ACLU to make macromining & botting legal

@Mortumforte lies...
lol i just had to look it up, but it really says the exact opposite.
Macroing is specifically stated as not being allowed.
Although its apparently also not allowed to give items, money, rank to an account inappropriate for the level or rank of said character.
So that alt that 2 day old alt that is the head of my alliance is illegal! I knew it!

@Mortumforte So as long as I only do it with one or two accounts at a time and only use it during my typical on times it legal?

i think people taking out macro miners should be able to get they're ships reimbersed, if they can prove the guy realy was a macro miner :D

@CalicoatMaker CCP does follow their own rules. If you read up the ruling on botting & macros, you would understand this.

@CalicoatMaker If that ever happens, may our supply of hulkageddons be big.

@DreadSouls LMFAO! because CCP employed you to do so?

@DreadSouls if ccp could prove they were bots they would be banned

Macro miners need to die in a fire in real life.
I leave honest people alone if they're mining while in contact with the client - if I spot a botter and or macro, I will haunt him 'til he dies.
