thats gross to keep shoes in your closet, ESPECIALLY above everything, if you must keep shoes in your closet then its better in my opinion to keep them closer to the ground, unless you plan on washing your shoes every time you come in the house of course.

For me, if I have to move something to get at something else (like at 00:49) then it just becomes unorganized again or I'd never end up using the things that are hidden in the back

And why buy fifteen different sets of little boxes/drawer units/baskets etc., having to lift them out of each other's way all the time, and then think you can advice other people on how to organize anything?!

Copy the boys and get yourself a toolbox!

You can buy them in different sizes and colours, I got one in clear plastic from an art supply store. You can get a toolbox that has two drawer units as well as the main box - you can put rings and earrings in the top drawer (some toolboxes has little compartments as well), necklaces, watches and broches in the second, and bigger items or jewellery boxes in the actual toolbox. Works for me, and it's both mobile, safe & compact!

that accessory station just seems so cramped, way too hard to navigate in a hurry. I'd move that out into the room like on top of a bureau and use that shelf space for the sweaters she has way up out of reach on the top shelf.

i agree. mine is set up on my bureau. the people that make these videos should really think, for example they should say "if you have a small closet..." ,"if your closet is not a walk in closet...". stuff like that. these people that make these videos never think of others and what others have. they just think of themselves and what they can do.(most of the time :))

I like the shoe idea but my closet is tiny and im always struggling to fit things in an organised way and as lalug08 said not everybody has such a massive closet. if i did it would solve all my problems

shoes on a shelf are wasted space they could go on the floor or a shoe hanger and you could put sweaters on a shelf
