Hey, could you tell me if there were any driver issues? I happen to have to install windows 7 on a tc4400. I only find Windows Vista x64 drivers on the HP website. Did you use those? Or didnt you install any drivers and let windows 7 do everything?
@bockwurst90 Can't recall exactly what I used there (remember, this was a video demonstrating the tablet for sale over a year ago, haha...), but I do know there was some proprietary stuff that came from the Vista section (I don't think it was 64-bit... if it has 2GB RAM, I recommend using 32-bit instead of 64 to improve performance). The "quick launch buttons" software is needed to control rotation and other functions. The fingerprint security software, etc., is auto-loaded with Windows Update.
@bockwurst90 What you might want to do is look up the Quick Launch software on HP's website under "Vista", then instead of downloading that version, click "version history" on the details page to find the latest version compatible with Windows 7. The graphics and other drivers, if I remember correctly, can be found in Windows Update (under "optional updates", ridiculously enough).
i have this comp and i keep running into sites that say you can put 64bit on it. yet it says that its a 32 bit when i try to install. do you know if theres a 64bit processor upgrade you can get?
@sjuliang It is a 64 bit processor my friend. You may only have the 32 bit version of Windows. You will need to get a 64 bit version in order to install it, otherwise you may have the 4200 Model which I believe is 32 bit as it's a single core M chip.
@jerkboxjojo i did set it up to install on the comp and it said that it failed to load windoes because its not a 64 bit processor. the person that had it before messed with it alot and i wouldent doubt he swiched it out with another comp's processor. its all good tho, im just thinking about getting another laptop. this one is cool, but after a while of not using a cd/dvd drive.... well it starts to get to your head. thanks!

So it doesn't have pressure sensitivity? :( Do you know if wacom drives would enable the pressure sensitivity or if wacom pen would work on it with pressure sensitivity?
@sanjugeorge Win7 already comes with tablet components in all editions, so there's no "tablet edition". Just go to Programs and Features, and check that "tablet PC components" is enabled (it is by default, which is kinda ridiculous since most PCs aren't tablets... wishful thinking by MS?).
@punkidd912 try installing the drivers for those button manually. Some drivers don't get installed automatically by windows 7. If you can't find driver for windows 7 , try using the windows xp ones, or vista if available.
Dude, I already have an HP TC4400 with Windows 7 Ultimate (Got it in January) and Microsoft Ofiice 2010 Professional Plus in it. It has 4GB Ram, 2.0 Intel Centrino Duo and 320GB Hard Drive Space. Everything is working like the pen touch. So BOOOM!!!!
@d12emma Looking to get 500 for it right now. And if you're not local, I'll throw in free domestic (USPS Priority or however you prefer) shipping there too, since the shipping cost is so small in relation :)

@spiritobscura It has pressure sensitivity. The drivers are a bit quirky but it works fine in Photoshop and the like.
