  • The knobs are in the way for obtaining darker tones and foot work.

  • No nessisarily, you can do foot work on the sides of the Cajon, and the darker tones arn't really affected by little peices of metal like that.

  • This is a great concept except the controls should be on the side of the instrument possibly even on the rear so as not to "reveal too much". (Secret weapons) The playing surface should be clear of any obstructions that might render expression. Although, if that's as far as this instrument is going to evolve it'll just be one of those engineering byproducts that one must conform to when playing this particular model.

  • @gmrios They need simple levers that you can flip with your toe so you don't have to stop playing with your hand!

    I also don't like the placement; looks like it'd be tough to get your heel up the front to change the pitch. Might just be me, though. I'd have to try it.

    Interesting idea, though.
