Had to build this for the kid across the road, and since the 10 year old was "helping" it took about three days to make. Finally got it finished and as soon as I had placed the last brick on he - with no regard to the thing being a collectors piece - picked it up, tried to say "whoosh", realised it was too heavy, and dropped it on my foot.

@iPwnhelpr no ;-) i`m cheating with the most of my movies....i`m cutting it backwards-i deconstruct the Sets ,and so i cant use the Manual...and when i´m finished filming-taking pics..i cut it backwards...so it looked like i was building it...only my first movies i built it normal...till after the Death Star...this was the last movie i was filming normal.i saw its easier to film stuff whats built,because of the settings of the cam and lighting...check out my old movies & you know what i mean;-)

I got this when it came out years ago. Its the center piece to my living room. Everyone that comes over ogles at it the first time. I have one major complaint about it tho. After several years, the thing will start to sag. the framework sections can't hold all that weight. and the pieces will being to stretch out. and it just won't hold the bottom panels up anymore. I've had to make a number of modifications to mine to keep it looking like it did brand new.

@LachlanArthur its easyier to build ,when its not everything grey...sometimes you didnt see in the instruction where you should put the bricks on so they made into the construction coulered bricks..did you know what i want to say?Lego know why they do this...and i think some of the coulered bricks ,they didnt make in grey at the time when the Set came out...but mostly i think its for understanding and easier sorting the bricks when you build stuff in this size...
