  • Be sure you are getting on top of the pitch in all of top notes of each grouping.. they are just a bit under, particularly the first two. It's really a matter of energizing the breath all the way through the phrase...Might want to be careful with the bend at the waist as it is limiting your breath substantially. Are there other ways to communicate the same movement without collapsing the rib cage by bending? Lots of potential -- I hope they aren't pushing you too fast too soon??

  • Really good acting! Make sure you are watching your intonation throughout. I have done this piece and it's a killer. Good luck to you!

  • Ophelia's Mad Scene from the opera hamlet is also a really good choice for your voice, I think. Natalie Dessay sang the part the best, IMO. There's a 2 part of vid of her on stage singing it with English subtitles with English subtitles

  • I'm really glad you sang this! Much better than I will do this coming spring! Perfect control, LOVE IT....keep singing and when your do your vibrato, just let it go and let it glimmer...*HUGE thumbs up and hugs*

  • @Poet2916 Thank you so much and good luck to you!

  • @lilcrazilia There's an opera film called The Nightingale (Le Rossignol) with Natalie Dessay that I think you should sing a song from that "The Song Of The Nightingale"..there's a vid of the film on here with English subtitles
