@prosurfer2222 I don't think that the title is meant to convey that this Jeep SRT8 comes with No2 from the factory. Nor do I think that the author of this video was trying to imply that, regardless of the fact that No2 is installed, they still proclaim this vehicle "stock".

The title of this video postulates that, OTHER than the "intake/tune and 125 shot", the rest of the vehicle is "stock". Although I do concede that using the word "stock" makes the sentence paradoxical. Cheers :)

you cant run on pure nitrous, its an oxidizer....regardless of popular belief, nitrous is NOT flamable, it simply makes the air and gas mixture burn hotter and quicker...hence oxidizer

When heated to 570* the particles split and the extra oxygen allows more fuel to be burnt at the same time. Go read up on it and then come back. Its cold because its compressed, just like any other compressed gas..

Comparing a nitrous shot V8 to a 1.5 or 1.6L economy car is retarded.. That's like bragging that a civic can pull 42 legit mpg on the highway and this jeep won't even touch that - diff setups for diff applications.

There WAS a 4.0L back in the 70s, but by the 90s, it was a completely different engine, rebuilt from ground up several times.

The I6 you're thinking about was the Kaiser I6 which had a SOHC. The we all knew about was the AMC I6 which hadn't changed nearly as much as people thought. it was the same engine block design from day 1 but they updated it as time went on for the new emissions and such. Even in 04 when it was discontinued it still strongly competed with Ford and Chevy's V6 and it beat the 3.7L v6 that came in the Jeeps. I raced one... I know :)

Just wanna say I have a cherokee with the 4.0 I6 and I have about 270000 miles on it... never had to do anything but standard tune-ups, regular oil changes and it runs GREAT. So don't talk trash unless you actually know how jeeps really are... :) Jeep FTW!!
