BE VERY SCARED AMERICA! The Nazi's depicted Jewish people as long nosed rats in the popular press and later on, exterminated them. Beware of these name calling hate mongering racists. Many hate Obamacare, but are accepting unemployment, medicare, social security etc----all social programs from our government. I hate hypocrites like these dumb creeps!
Do people think there's some magic bullet and 8 years (perhaps 16) of the wrong direction would suddenly change in 2 years? It took 10 to pull out of the Great Depression because of short-sighted thinking. Most jobs were lost in the months prior and just post of Obama getting elected. The economy is slowly growing again. There's no magic bullet-- government moves glacially. Change dumb 60 vote rule in Congress, redistrict to stop career politicians, shut campaign $ spigot. And oh, yeah– VOTE!!
I understand your point-of-view, and at times have shared it. At the moment, however, I believe it is important that we support the Dems despite their failings and inadequacies.
One may argue that, within the corporate state, the differences between Republicans and Democrats are trivial. Any many of us are disappointed in Obama. But this new right-wing crowd frightens me. Any problems you have with Barack will pale in comparison to what this crowd could lead us to.
@carlosmandelbaum This is a terrific point of yours. Even Dennis Kucinich echoed your words recently - noting that despite his disappointment in some actions taken by his own party, we are down to a choice between a Democratic party that may be less progressive than we'd like, and nihilism. The short-sighted views of the increasingly polarized right wing, along with the growing numbers of people holding them, are indeed disturbing. I'm registered Green, but am voting Democratic.
WOW! Ignorant people.. Everybody knows the antichrist is prince William!

Demanding more left-wing politics out of the Democratic Party is more important than swallowing your pride and voting for them every two years.
