Dont get too impressed. It was recorded with tas, wich you can slow down the game and make save and much save states to get the perfect scores or times.

a player skill should not be taken so lightly. I remember I could do and connect most of the tricks he did on this video whenever I wanted and just for fun.

Overall I spent between 8-10 hours on the project. Time attacks by comparison can be "easy", since all you have to do is be fast ;)

Beautiful. You win good sir. Despite the before mentioned couple spot ring loss, you found all the secrets in the level in a speedy manor and without debug no less. There were places than even I, an experienced Sonic gamer, didn't know of before. There needs to be more "Collect All Rings" speedruns out there. I would like to see this kind of thing done with other levels.

Hey! If you want a specific suggestion. Well... I supose this is a "time attack" video, in a atime attack video you just have to worry with the TIME, you can´t waste time collecting rings, killing enemies, just must pass it in the better time wich you can, right?

The Spin dash attack can be be very usefull sometimes :D but you must to practice more! Try to make better nex time, you have good abilities but sometimes you don´t nkow where you are going...this is a problem... but nice work :D

I really spent alot of time trying to balance the asthetics of the route to getting all the rings -- So I purposely took the long way to show off some extra speed. Probably. I used minimum possible compression settings to make it a 70MB video (youtube only allows 100MB) and let youtube take care of the compression. This avoids having to significantly compress it twice.
