The only thing I've ever read was that Martin and the rest of the band didn't see eye to eye anymore on the commercial side of the band (I don't mean selling out, I mean paying your bills from your band activity). Martin had a website at the time where he explained it though vaguely. What I've always liked about the modern Skyclad is that they never really replaced Martin since Kevin was already in the band :)

i was a big fan of skyclad in the mid 90's.i saw then twice at jb's in dudley(west mids).but i never found out why martin left.can anyone tell?
