Let me put it this way...I have a 361HP V8 Pontiac G8 GT for my main car and a '01 Miata as a secondary car. The Miata is the one I consider more fun to drive, by a long shot.

That being said, I would only have it as a second car. Obviously you don't have much space inside it, there's not much protection in a crash, and it doesn't drive well in rainy or snowy weather. If there's even a hint of bad weather, I drive the Pontiac to work. But every good weather day, it's always the Miata :)

it's not done yet, but with the nice set of lithium iron phosphate batteries that i've ordered, I expect to get between 100 and 120 miles per charge

I have a 96 Miata, and bought second or third hand--so it's nice to see what it looked like all brand new!

I love love love my old Miata. Almost . . .unnaturally!

Now I am in Germany, shipped it over. Trying to get it to fit German specs so I can drive her down the Autobahn.

i have a 91 miata and it came from germany

in europe cars registered since 1987 have to use a back fog light...

even if it's not factory...

The German inspection agency dos n´t mount´s parts, they only have to insist that road legal cars have a rear fog light - you can mount it by yourself in a "beautiful" way, the only thing that matters is that e car has a rear fog light mounted - its probably ugly, but at least its a useful part ;)
