I asked My older bro a bunch of cds to ripp off mp3, among these was REO Hits, this one was the first CD ever in my family back in 1989, i played it to death, the sony tape I had on my walkman was worn, then in 1990 they came to my very own city Guadalajara Mexico, I was there: intro:Twist N Shout (beatles) dim light-Don't let him Go - Take It On The Run WOW, what a 1-2 punch to start a show! a GREAT band Live, they blew my mind! I can't find any videos of that show or any Latin America Show.

In college in 1994 I was blasting this song in my apt . .a cop opened the door because he said he had been knocking for a while and I didn't hear him. He gave me a $200 noise violation citation .. .ouch . .. I wish I had been using headphones but I'll always remember this song for that reason. It's a great song and I agree that it should have been a bigger hit for REO.

wow this is great.......i first saw the boys on this tour in 1990 in danville, ill.and 19 years and 31 shows later they are still my favorite...the earth, a small man his dog and a chicken is still one of my favorite albums of theirs......does anyone know where i can get a live radio show i belive done in 91 at the whiskey a go-go........any info would be great

Thanks for the live version. This song should have been a big hit. When I first heard this, I dedicated it to my wife before we married because she was a widow when I met her, and the song said it all. This is actually from a good album. I saw them play this live at a bar at the Jersey Shore in 1991. This is before they went to the Styx or R&R revival shows. Just REO and a few hundred people. Hopefully we'll get a video of this song someday.
