This video is awesome! There once was a time, where Norton was the best you could get. Those times are over. Free alternatives like MSE, Avast, AVG or Avira (and many others) work just as well as lots of commercial antivirus software. I use Avast, because I love the "successrate" and the options. Some computer magazine tested 10+ free antivirus programs with some antivirus-testing-company. Big victory to Avast. It captured lots of stuff, that many others didn't catch :) Choose whatever you like!

Uhm, Microsoft's software is FREE. That makes a huge difference.

Although I also know that Norton has improved their software memory footprint and stuff, I still choose Microsoft's software because it does the job very decently knowing it's free.

Absolutely great video but as for symantec programs, well, fool me once shame on you, fool me repeatedly shame on me. Norton Ghost 9.0 (broken after Windows XP sp 2, Older versions of Norton System Works, does EXACT opposite of what it advertises. They don't support their products, they just let them "expire" so you have to continually buy the latest version.
