How is putting metal into the atmosphere any different to when aircraft trails do the same thing? Also, modifying the weather so there's no clouds - entirely possible, but how to decide what the weather should be like. Indigenous folks had ways to make it rain, this stuff does work. Also, how does all this dovetail with actual climate-change, as in 'the butterfly effect' of so much alterations to movement in general, not caused by nature, contributing to weather imbalances?

Justnow there's an anticyclone over NI, and it's making all the UK have clear skies.

Here for example, it takes a few weeks max of dry weather and the reservoirs start to run dry, England has all the hosepipe bans - it's not wise to stop the rain just cause we're programed to think sunny = better. It's a myth that good crop growth needs strong sunshine as well, even solar panels charge up in cloudy weather. I think we should use cloudbusting primariy to create water vapor over dry areas.

- cause a lot of desert areas are that way because of prior destructive cropping and deforestation, if the plants were still there then the water is held in the soil and normal rainfall patterns continue, the land remains fertile. No plants = desertification = infertile land = no rainfall, and the dry areas spread outwards too. (I know some histories show dry areas caused by ancient wars (fused glass particles in the desert sand etc) - that still counts as un-natural intervention in nature)

How old are you? you never served in the armed forces; I did for 8 yrs & to tell you that myself & 252 other guys back in 1987 at Ft. Dix; we were tested by unknown nerve chemical agent that really messed us up...we had no control whatsoever; a C-130 approached us from McGuire AFB clearing a tree line & a grass field flying in low & dumped white smoke from the rear of the cargo door while our superiors were inside a bldg out of sight and we were at attn in formation laid out sick & paralyzed!

Our gov'nt has use civilains & military personnel as test subjects going back to the 40's...it is called NBC; Nuclear Biological Chemical...reasons were to see what is the short & long term affects were to be on people & environment and to include if we were able to carryout military operations and government in the event of attack or fullblown war in a NBC situation...knucklehead!

The reason contrails linger while others dissipate is because the planes are at different altitudes. You cant tell the difference from the ground because you have no point of reference. Temperatures vary greatly with altitude. Have you ever been on a mountain in the summer??? You guys should really try using your brains once in a while.

My brother is a AP mechanic & he explains that contrails is also formed by the stablizers/wings/ & tail along w/ the heat exhaust from either a turboprop engine to turbines to cold air...jet fuel can vaporize kinda like alcohol does being exposed by air...contrails always dissipates & they do not linger & expand; not normal...

air is always moving throughout the atmoshpere globally...what is this you talk about being at different altitudes & mean temp? that is not at all realistic!

Now, the argument you should be having is how contrails are changing our weather since we now have artificial clouds being made. Global cooling is what we are seeing because of contrails and differs greatly with the large scale weather cycles such as La Nina and El Nino.

Those are clouds mixed with a little exhaust from the jet engines! It's really cold at altitude. Guess what happens to jet engines....they get freakin HOT! Add a little humidity and you get clouds!! Geez! Its not rocket science. Did you go ever go to Science class??
