This was a great match. However, I don't think they were an extremely great team this year. The chinese volleyball team of 2004 I felt was way better. Maybe it was the need to win gold again after 20 years, maybe it was just the right moment. But I do think there was something missing about them in beijing that they had in athens.

Cuba has excellent volleyball players/teams as well as baseball and their boxers are very good too. Looks like they will have to duke it out for bronze with China since Italy (pop. 60 million) schooled China (1.3 billion) in the semis in Beijing. Italy also does well in men's volleyball and I think they are ok at soccer too. I may be wrong...

This was a great match. However, I don't think they were an extremely great team this year. The chinese volleyball team of 2004 I felt was way better. Maybe it was the need to win gold again after 20 years, maybe it was just the right moment. But I do think there was something missing about them in beijing that they had in athens.

Cuba has excellent volleyball players/teams as well as baseball and their boxers are very good too. Looks like they will have to duke it out for bronze with China since Italy (pop. 60 million) schooled China (1.3 billion) in the semis in Beijing. Italy also does well in men's volleyball and I think they are ok at soccer too. I may be wrong...

Bueno en eso si estamos dacuerdo de que CHINA estará en la final en Beijín; pero el otro equipo que estará en la final será RUSIA nuevamente como en Athenas; no Italia, ni Brasil, Cuba, ni ningún otro equipo; debido a que no están al nivel de estas dos escuadras, ya que Rusia en el grand Prix no contó con Maria Borodakova y ahora tiene a una excelente Líbero que ha participado en el OQ de Europa donde Rusia ganó el cupo Olimpico.

Es cierto tolibio Polonia ha subido su nivel enormemente y lo demostró en el GP07 ganando a Italia 3x0, les hizo sufrir a las rusas en el OQ Europe 3x2 donde las rusas ganaron el cupo olimpico, pero tampoco hay que olvidar a Serbia que le fue mal en el WC07, pero se recupero para participar en el WORLD OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENTS a celebrarse en Japón en mayo 17-25.

Sabes tu que países van a jugar en el WORLD OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENTS en japón, son 8 países de los cuales 3 van a Beijíng que son: Japón, Thailandia, Korea, Kazhajtán, Republica Dominicana, Polonia, Puerto Rico y Serbia. Ahora a Japón no se le cuenta debido a que va a ganar el cupo en ASIA - AVC y los otros 3 que van a clasificar son: Polonia, Serbia y el 3° cupo está entre 3 países (Korea, Kazhajtán & Republica Dominicana).
