  • Good morning Doc. I'm curios . . . was there anything to the call. Did it end up being a working fire?

  • @wlittle Generally if the companies make it this far from downtown it is a working fire. The heavy resuce and the ladder truck that followed them were from downtown.

  • great clip CLASSIC......

  • Great video :). Can't wait til next summer I become a junior.I forget the electonic siren those trucks have. What are they again?

  • @RCcustomPD No, Caddo Parish Fire District 5 has the Pierce, not Shreveport FD.

  • Thank you Doc for uploading this! I love those Spartan Monarchs and the LaFrance's are great also!

  • Not to get distracted by Skankpronger's comment but, did Shreveport allow firemen to ride the tailboard until the ban in '87?

  • 93? looks more like 83' vehicles looks kinda old for 1993

  • @Skankpronger The first 2 Quality Monarch Pumpers were not purchased until 1987 and they did not put the red reflective tape on until 1990-1. But thank you for the comment.
