@VlogPaul the "Uniform" is a vintage Notre Dame windbreaker ....that is my bedroom in my home. I am not nor have I ever been in prison.....but if there is a prison cell with wall to wall carpeting, mini blinds, a telephone with voice mail, and all halogen lighting....That the one I want to go to !!
Thanks for the very thoughtful response. While I am personally inclined against corporal punishment in just about all cases, I do agree that their is a difference between family dynamics and institutional authority outside the family. My personal experience with my father was highly dysfunctional and I can't remember any time physical punishment wasn't angry and uncontrolled. Maybe I'm blocking it out. I can imagine (mostly from 50s and 60s tv shows) reasoned administration of punishment.
@FantasticBabblings But I have no personal experience of it. But that aside, I don't think government should get involved in the family intimacy unless it becomes a clear case of abuse.
