I purchased the Nexus One online with engraving sometime in afternoon and they delivered the handset next morning...That time they were doing free overnight delivery...not sure what's the trend now

yeah it's still free overnight delivery but they said it might take 72 hours to deliver if i chose to engrave it. i really hope there's a place i can get it engraved sometime in the future. it's not coming until tomorrow since i ordered on saturday, needless to say i'm excited lol. anyway, thanks for the reply man, i enjoy your videos :)

i had the n95, then the g1 then hero (2.0 with sense).. now own the n900(my pleasure)..

i must say.. i was pretty impressed by android, but the functions were limited.. n900 changes all that!

even so.. as a programmer, i find programming for the maemo 5 a whole lot simpler than android..

Those who have used earlier versions of android do say that the newest iteration the eclair v2.1 is improved version of previous one...

i have never used a touch screen phone before, so this concept is anywayz new to me...

I'm constantly going to monitor the maemo community and see how it progresses...if i see that it is surpassing android community...i will immediately switch over :)

N900 has 600 MHZ Process + 456 mhz GPU processor which SNAPDRAGON does not have...

they both have 1GB application memory

The only difference i see is wireless N card which is not worth it since android 2.1 is shittier than MAEMO 5

Actually Nexus One does not even have 1 gb memory...i guess it's just 256 MB...

I haven't used Maemo, so cannot comment on which one is better, but if you do get a chance to have a hands on experience on Nexus One...Shout Out Loud on which one is better...Even after 24 hours I'm thrilled by my decision to buy the Nexus One (so far)

actually i have been a nokia loyalist right uptil the N95...somehow they don't seem to be in the same playing field as the iphone or android based phones...

i even considered the Nokia N900 right until last week, but The Nexus One and it's Snap Dragon totally blew me away...

And don't worry about my language....english is not my primary language :)
