@brycecoder John Smid wasn't the founder of Love In Action -- we was a director, yes, but not the founder. According to Wikipedia "Frank Worthen, John Evans, and Kent Philpott" founded the camp.

The irony is that Jesus says exactly nothing in the Bible about homosexuality, and doesn't seem to be particularly concerned with people's sex lives in general, except for a few scattered words and the incident where he stopped the people from stoning the adulteress. St. Paul is responsible for the statements against homosexuality in the New Testament. As for the Old Testament...yes, it has several anti-gay lines, and also condones genocide and slavery, so I wouldn't even bother going there.

amazing idea, i sincerely hope Rhodes gets together and does that. it puts a smile on my face to think about how much hope something like that could give a kid in one of those camps. Or, if you wanna get a bit pricery, rent one of those blimps with the giant TV screens on the side and loop all the 'It Gets Better' videos as they fly overhead.
