Gooood Choice of music! It sounds good and you have a reallllly strong voice with awesome tone control but you should leave the bass guitar to someone else and consentrate on being a lead singer where your freed up to express yourself a bit more during the song and connect with the audiance. Bass players are a dime a dozen but women with great Rock voices are very rare. Do what you do BEST (sing) and find yourself a Bassist who plays better than you.

Your voice is an exceptionally rare God given talent but its as a "performer" you need to develop and concentrate. Your playing the Bass creates physical limitation. A Singer looks way better when they are able to move around (perform) to an audiance. Have you tried out for American Idol just singing? I think you'd blow them away if you choose the right material. There are plenty of female singers out there. But how many can play the bass too? THAT makes her stand out. She should stick to what she is doing. She is doing everything right. Why ? because her voice is her special talent, her bass playing is average at best, and as i said, there's a lot more to being a great Rock singing than just singing in tune. How many lead singing BASS guitarists was there EVER in the history of Rock music??? Only 4 or 5 i can think of in the last 40 years and they where all EXCEPTIONAL bass guitarists and usually shared the singing with another person.

Other than the tempo being way too fast, this is a good job! You've got a very good voice. Should have had harmony vocals on this too, your guitar player has a mic, have him use it! His solo should have been loud enough to be heard too. It's all stuff that comes with experience.

Why so fast? It's a total drummer thing. The non-trained ones always want to play everything fast and they don't even realize it. I wouldn't post anything had I not joined my first rock band when I was like 11-12. That drummer really needs to step it up and relax a little.
You obviously have a great voice. However, you really need to work on voice control and tone. The guitars are kinda awful. There is a bit of a problem with staying on key. Make sure those guitars are tuned properly.
Live performances really enhance problems, particularly off key stuff. Practice, practice, practice. And stop rushing the tempo. Watch Heart's version of this song for pointers.

You have a great voice honey. Please keep singing this type of music. Your voice is a perfect match for rock. We need more female Rock singers....Good Luck!
