The problem I see with the bill on Clean energy, is they want to restrict oil drilling. For businesses like Schlumberger, Baker Huges, Smith International, and the contracts they deal with, can restricts international trade. This is a direct violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act. This alone can cause a dollar collapse because foreign countries will stop trading in Dollars, and we will have Hyperinflation. Study laissez-faire also. Republican plan avoids these laws by promoting competition.

Actually the housing crisis was started by the Democrats during clinton era when he wanted to start affordable housing act. This lowered the mortgage standards the banks would hold so people who before couldn't buy a house could. Banks normally wouldn't give those loans in the past as they wouldn't get the money back. In 2003 Repubs called for mortgage reform, Dems thwarted it. McCain warns about a possible collaspe and democrats bashed him then. Sorry but financial crisis was the Dems fault.

If I had a dime every time I heard someone say that the time to buy a house is now because the interest rates are so low and they will not stay this low for very long, I would have a lot of money.
