@knowallcity If you're talking about Dana Carvey, he almost died from an operation on his heart... he had 3 angioplasties not long after this and he was getting no relief until it was discovered that the doctor was bypassing the wrong artery. So cut him a little slack, he was kinda busy for awhile.
Its more than that. Letterman and Regis got back at it. To spend time with his family sounds unquestionable..but I think he was a product of his time-the 90's.
I hope he makes a Travolta like comedy comeback though..
