I know you are an animator and don't focus on modeling or texturing, but maybe you could get a friend to do it or maybe you could find a pre done model, but it really does make things stick out. But the work is very good!
yeah, i used to look around for some better rigs, but many tend to be workable only in Maya instead of 3d studio max which i'm much more familiar. but yeah, better rigs and textures do help! thanks!
Yeah man this is the stuff. This has what that other demo reel was missing. Great sence of weight and balance and alot of subtlety that was missing in the previous reel. Great step forward!! Now this is just trying to be helpful not picking on your work what so ever. To really step things up and make it stick out you should really look into getting some better models and textures. Maybe get something with an advanced rig to show of the complexity of the animation.
Love the expressions on the 1st clip where you used voices from the Simpsons. The one where he was hit by two balls seemed a bit off. The small ball seemed really light at times, but then really heavy when it hit the ground for examples. Well thats my two cents anyway :) Anyway, nice job!
I loved the first one & the last one ! that was really cool ! Best of luck !

you should really give credit to the character modeler and riger if you choose to use their work.
