I just got to Osan yesterday.. the door locks for the doorms are crazy.. all you have to do is wave the key card in front of it and it unlocks. When the door closes behind you it has an electronic auto lock and to leave the room you have to press a button on the lock that releases the lock. Pretty crazy stuff!!!
What, you've got electronic locks on the dorm rooms now!! I was at Osan from 03-04 in the older dorms-1308 to be exact. Since when did AF dorms start going to electronic locks!? That seems a little too high tech for a dorm.
the first time i seen them was in 05 at lackland when i was in tech. they put these in around april 08. its nice and helps with break in's because the lock is auto every time you close the door.
those locks are sick!!! i was in osan 05-06 1436 (security forces) our dorms looked like projects in brooklyn. i thought this vid was a fake with those electronic locks
i'm going there in october this year i'm part of telecomm i'll be at the 51st maintence, is it true that airmen dorms are like this one that you have or do we get tech school dorms like at sheppard
if you mean one person per room, yes they are all like this now unless there is a surge of people which wont happen. some dorms are older and some are newer...i think you guys have a newer dorm, but dont hold me to it.

@kabris well, if your an airman in korea you must live in the dorms, but if your staff and above you can live off base if the dorms are full.
