When you ask "extend it", are you referring to the cable itself, or are you thinking about adding a router (to extend the DSL to more than 1 computer)? Just let me know and I'll be glad to answer your question.

i got the exact same 1 shes showing us how to work
and its only went out twice due to storms knocking out the cable
and that was about a year ago

1. my ethernet light is orange
2. the ethernet light AND the internet are CONSTANTLY blinking and my internet is out of control.

Having trouble with opeing NAT for xbox live with this modem.I have wireless adapter.Enabled UPnP,DMZ,and setted up my firewal setings on it.

I fixed it I had to put it in router mode.and dmz the xbox, now my is having issues.

Now you have to put you modem into Upnp mode thats the only way i could get it
