I went back home after 20 years, i have to say that the change i have seen is very positive. At list their economic policy is working for the most part. As long as they help bring our ppl out of the dark ages, i say good for them.

I think it is b/s of the party name TPLF; most ppl felt that this goverment was for Tigray ppl ,not for the whole Ethiopia. I think if the party name was like EPLF, it would have made A HUGE diffrence. That is just what I think is the problem.

TPLF was created to separate Tigray from Ethiopia and that is truth, and people didn't forget that even though TPLF claimed to not want that anymore. Economic growth is the only way to conciliate himself with the Ethiopian people. In my opinion unless it is joint with democratic measures, it is not feasible by itself. There must be a government that is comprehensive, meaning that democracy should be in place and human rights valued. We need a leader who respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ethiopia and furnish equal right to all Ethiopians despite of ethnicity or tribe.

Economic development is not going to excuse the undeviating damage caused by TPLF. Dont just look at economic progress and justify all the extreme mistakes of the regime ethi0nz. Addis, Mekelle, Gonder etc are not the only places in Ethiopia. What about the rural areas where over 70 million Ethiopians live? They are abandoned in poverty. Economic development will not excuse the atrocious acts of MZ and TPLF.
