The voice over even states at the beginning of the TV show; that "the Litigants have agreed to have their small claims case removed from court, and settled on the TV show" . (I'm paraphrasing.) An actual Judge can't compensate a Litigant for appearing in a court. So, the Defendant never really looses any money from the verdict. The show pays each side.
I am appauled by this woman. I would be frightened to have her as my nurse. In her mind she does not wrong, no remorse. What is she doing with patients that cant speak for themselves? Believe it or not, people put their lives in nurse's hands when they get admitted into a hospital. Medications, treatment of care, following doctor's orders... the list goes on. Scary when i see a nurse like this who, by the way, is cleary in the wrong in this case.

@SmileChicky Well, let me tell you something - I do not think that ANY use of this word is appropriate, whether the user be black, white, purple, whatever. The reason: I look at the HATEFUL origin of this word. If other ignorant black or white people want to be fools and keep using it, that's their issue...and as for black people using it, they need to look at the history of the word before making themselves look idiotic. I agree, it would be confusing if I didn't know from wence it came.

Initially, the word was utilized by some African Americans in order to reduce its strength (ability to invoke pain) and to take it "out of the hands" of whites. Once internalized by the AA community it became a term of camaraderie, identity and intimidation. The word is now a marketable commodity, fed back to all those claiming it for themselves..
