What you could have also done is make a rotating platform and a background all in chroma key. Then set the sunglasses on the chroma keyed platform and record it rotating. Then in After Effects key out the green and replace it with you throwing the glasses. If done right it will look just like you did it but the glasses will look better.

@pacmanbiohazard I just remade a model of my sunglasses. Look up Autodesk Maya. It can work wonders. There's lots of tutorials on how to animate the 3D model.
