@bower651 This game had a lot of innovation and felt like a natural evolution of the first one. It had a great cast of characters and an awesome story. Pity is, the franchise has been stagnating since then because Ubisoft wouldn't move on to a new main character. They have hinted at 6 possible characters for the next Assassins Creed installment in this game every single one of which I would have loved to play. Instead, we get more overpowered weaponry and Tower Defense...

this is my most favorite in The AC series :) specially the storyline and when he actually learns how to be an Assassin "His First Leap of Fate" was the best. But i have to give props to AC revelations for all the emotions and let us be able to see Altair's whole life to the end :)

By far the best game in the series. Wish they would put as much time and detail into the newer ones. Both brother hood and revelations felt more like DLC or Add's ons than full games.

The story telling in AC2 is also unmatched in any game in the series.

@ZoeyAllen911 Dude if you haven't played the second one you're missing out. AC1was good imo but it had repedative missions and if you didn't pay close attention you were soon lost. ACB was very good but it itself got a little old after playing in the same setting and after a while became just alright. Now AC2..... There's a game that will send you to outter space and back. Best game so far out of the whole series, you absolutely CANNOT play ACB without playing AC2 first, it's just wrong. Go out

even though its game" welll....the auditore family really existed....but in the game died only the father and the twp brother in the reality everyone, it was a rich family that controlled the second one most important banks of florence and they had a wonderfull palace in monteriggioni (yes...monteriggioni exists, visit it if you will ever go in italy) even the pazzi family existed, and they really tried to kill the medici... :)

AC 2 is by far the best assassin's creed game ever. Brotherhood added more stuff, but that was the problem. The crossbow was way over powered and the assassins you could call on was also cheap. They just took away the feeling of being an assassin. Still the tweaks to combat,the ability to ride horses anywhere and the ability to replay story missions were very welcomed.

What I love about Assassin's Creed trailers is that even the cinematic non-gameplay ones still show things that you can actually do in the game itself, unlike most other game cinematic trailers that show cool shit you only wish you could do in the real game. Most of the epic feats we see Ezio pull off in this and in the Revelations trailer, are actual in-game techniques.

I would have to say that the Revelations trailer is the best because in the other 3, it's solely on killing. Revelations' has Ezio being the "good guy". He only destroys 20+ guards cuz they shot him... (20+ without drawing a weapon) and when the hidden blades came out, you knew it was over

I wish the game's developers would've fleshed out its features (making the gun actually useful, giving a reason to collect money, giving your weapon selection a purpose beyond "it's cool", etc.) and actually created a difficulty level beyond "The camera kills you".
