  • @DickLodge68 Nobody outside of religion prays and you shouldn't force prayer on others who don't believe in it. If she didn't want to pray to god or the flying spaghetti monster or whatever, that's HER decision and people should respect that. You're totally over reacting. So basically you're saying because she didn't want to pray she doesn't deserve to be educated? Wow, you're a twat. If anyone lacks respect, it's you.

  • Wow, you're a dumbass! It was disrespectful that someone wanted to hold your hand? WTF is wrong with you? I'm not religious but prayer is about giving thanks to a being higher than yourself. You can't respect that? So you "healthyaddict" is the supreme being of the Universe? How snide and arrogant is that? Show some respect and just shut your fucking trap! Your respect level is ZERO. You are a dumb pampered shit that doesn't deserve to go to collage. An embarrassment!

  • This was the third video I watched of this chick. Conclusion: stupid lonely bimbo bitch.

Oh, with all do respect of course, peace!

  • @TroddinSod

This is the first comment I read from this dick. Conclusion: stupid lonely pencil-dicked loser.

Oh, with all do respect of course, peace!

  • @yerk3 I'm glad I stimulated your intellect, you're welcome, anytime.I'm always happy to illuminate the mentally challenged like yourself in the name of peace. In fact, here's a hotline number you can call next time the dark clouds envelope your little mind; dial: 555-ASS-HOLE. The people there are experts in helping people with 'shit for brains' like you. It's a great step toward world peace helping pusil intellects, like yours, come to terms with & accept their place in life as losers.

  • @TroddinSod So I'm guessing I made you cry again.

  • @TroddinSod oohhh good one lol

  • @xnamansajonasx Weren't you trying to take the moral high ground? Oh well, I guess the truth always shines through. One minute claiming that all atheists were bitter and angry, the next, high-fiving an infantile troll.

  • @yerk3 i never said that. mabe you got me mixed up with the hundred other people your arguing with on here, but your STILL not even understanding me. Its like going right over your head and im a little bit of an impatient person sooo bye and again have a blessed life.

  • @xnamansajonasx What exactly is "going over my head?" Or did you hear that phrase once in an argument and thought it would be a good, if vacuous, way to respond without actually having to think of anything to say?

  • @yerk3 nooo your just hardheaded, close minded, what do you want me to say. You couldn't even understand the very first point i made ( that was quite simple by the way) I just feel like you have to find a point to argue ( even at the simplest things) and i know its simple, even for people like you, beacuse other atheist even agreed. just saying. I honestly dont mean for this to be mean just speaking from what i see

  • @xnamansajonasx More hollow bluster.

  • @yerk3 ok

  • @TroddinSod Do you think a juice box would cheer you up?

  • @yerk3 Yes, you made me cry tears of ecstatic joy. Their copious dribble upon my cheeks were a refreshing reminder of how worthwhile living is - when I can help dumb fucks like you begin to see the light. But please save the juice box for yourself. I heard your crack smoking mother hasn't been to the grocery store in a long time, so, I'm sure you'll need it more than me. Besides, I don't feel right consuming stolen merchandise. Save it for Mom, for whenever she returns home.

  • @RefutingSkellyism Is somebody feeling cranky? You don't sound ecstatic or joyful. You sound perturbed. What could be bothering you, I wonder?

  • umm how do you expect to celebrate ( or join in) on a christian holiday yet not expect that someone's gonna pray or do something religious. i mean that's kinda dumb

  • @xnamansajonasx She never said anything about not expecting anyone to pray, she said the exact opposite. What annoyed her was the expectation that she should compulsively join them. I don't know how you could have watched the video and misinterpreted it in that way.

  • Nice tits. :P

  • It happen to me before at friends thanksgiving party, even though I dont believe in the thanksgiving shit! but I went along with it anyway. This year I wont be attending , HOWEVER! I will be at my families thanksgiving party for the food, CAUSE IM A FAT ASS MYSELF, but i wont be getting in on the holy roley shit.

  • I too am an athiest and don't see why it would be a big deal to just humor the lady by joining in her prayer. It hurts nothing. Quit taking yourself so seriously. It's a prayer- its just words.

  • Why all the anger? You have some valid points, but your anger reveals more of an underlying cause for your disbelief that the intellectual arguments your positing.

  • @rharkins123 Where is the anger? What is it with Christians accusing atheists of being angry?

  • @yerk3 so your saying that when you look at her she looks fine and dandy? cause i sence some anger. idk that just me though

  • @xnamansajonasx Annoyance perhaps. The idea that someone should be compelled to take part in a religious ritual they don't believe in is kind of irritating. Otherwise, your attempt to bring out the "angry bitter atheist" straw man falls flat.

  • @yerk3 if its such an annoyance, irritating, whatever, then why would she involve herself? so she can rant about it on youtube. there's no point to that, that is what im saying is stupid

  • @xnamansajonasx To be with friends and family on the holidays. Are you saying she went to this get-together solely to come in contact with this one obnoxious Christian to rant about it on Youtube? See, this is what is annoying about Christians: your privilege is so strong that anything that doesn't conform to what you've been spoon fed since birth feels like an imposition. I bet the existence of atheists gets you mad.

  • @yerk3 no it just makes me sad. To be frank we are probably the least priviliged people on this earth. Everything about this world is against what we believe. And don't put us in a box because i for one I was not spoon fed christianity. i used to be like you untill god saved me from the lie i was living. And your still not getting my point about the vid. IT JUST DOESNT MAKE SENCE TO CELEBRATE A HOLIDAY THAT YOU DONT AGREE WITH BUT THEN EXPECT THERE TO BE NO KIND OF CONFLICT.

  • @xnamansajonasx There goes your Christian persecution complex. It really is irritating to see such a mixture of privilege and self-pity. In this country, your religion is the dominant one, it has a stranglehold on our culture, and until recently, most Western governments were essentially theocratic. For 1,770 years or so, you got to have your personal beliefs enshrined into law throughout the Western world.

  • @xnamansajonasx Theologians got to wage bloody wars with each other over whose version of Christianity was the best to force on everyone else. "Least privileged people on this earth?" Tell that to the practitioners of indigenous North American tribal religions, who have had their belief systems all but wiped out.

  • @xnamansajonasx Tell it to the Jews, who for a dozen centuries had to watch their backs whenever Easter came around, because there might be a mob of inebriated Christians on their way back from a Passion play, the part where Rabbi Chiaphas says "let this blood be on our children" still ringing fresh in their ears, looking for some payback.

  • @xnamansajonasx Tell it to the gays, who have only just recently got the right to marry, and even then only in a couple of states, because the Christians were so persecuted that they got to have their beliefs signed into law. Again, Christianity is the most privileged religion here in the West. The only place it doesn't is in countries where Islam is the privileged group, and that's just as bad, but a topic for another day.

  • @yerk3 well, i don't have another day so have a blessed life

  • @xnamansajonasx For most people, holidays are more about being together with family and friends and having a feast than reinforcing their indoctrination, and that's really the way it should be. Most Christian holidays are retreaded Central European pagan holidays anyway, if they can be re-purposed from a Solstice celebration to Jesus' birthday, then they can be salvaged again for family get-togethers. And now you're using all caps. Whose the angry one again?

  • @rharkins123 I two believe there is an underlying cause to this anger against religion , probably something to do with their upbringing...but I'm no professional

@yerk3 Where is the anger?Isn't it obvious with this being a rant and all? What is it with Christians accusing atheists of being angry?Probably because you're calling them delusional among other things

  • @danceisfun43 All I see is irritation at being expected to take part in someone else's prayer. Why shouldn't someone be annoyed in such a situation? It's kind of an asinine thing to expect from someone who doesn't even believe in your religion. Calling Christians delusional is not an act of anger, it is a calm statement of fact. Believing in things without evidence is delusional. Do you believe that criticizing any ideology is a sign of "anger," or is it just Christianity?

  • Did you tell them you weren't comfortable praying? They should respect you enough to not push you to do it if they know how you feel. I guess my thoughts are maybe they just didn't know they were offending you ya know?

  • While my greatgrandmother lived with us for awhile I joined her in prair every day, I didn't see it as offensive to me or w/e it's more like well this means something to her, she's not trying to put any religious ideas into my head she just does this 2 min ritual everyday, and it makes her happy if I join her, so what's the problem with it. As long as someone doesn't try to shove their religious belives down your throat, giving them 2 min to make them happy doesn't seem like such a big deal.

  • WHATS THE BIG DEAL? IM ATIEST BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE GET MAD AT THINGS LIKE THIS. its weird to me. they arent forcing you to do anything bad they just want you to make a wish with them. share hope whats the big deal just share a good feeling with them.

  • When you are are part of a home, you obey the rules of the owner! When you own the home, you make up your own rules. This girl has been brought up by messed up parents and no wonder she too is messed up in his brain! To say thank you to GOD or to Providence or to the Chef is just good manners.

In professional parlance among, doctors, lawyers, etc., it is called. a Code of Conduct

But, as she says, she is just a "hungry fat arse" with no manners at all!

  • And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. (85) How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their believing and (after) they had borne witness that the Apostle was true and clear arguments had come to them; and Allah does not guide the unjust people. (86) (As for) these, their reward is that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and of men, all together. Please read Quran

  • I don't pray either and I've been in situations like that, I just don't think it's such a big deal to bitch about. Maybe you're thinking about yourself a bit too much. If you didn't want to hold hands, just say no thank you.

    Thomas

  • you are an idiot seriously you celebrate easter but you dont belive in jesus but just the easter bunny cuz thts more sensible

  • What is Easter really about then if its not about Jesus? Eggs, bunnies, baskets, candy, blahblahblah... lol. Easter is about Jesus, however you wanna twist and turn it.. stil boils down to the rising of Jesus. lol. So yeah.. you should have prayed.. lol. at least to the eggs, bunnies, candy that you are so grateful for to have a holiday for. Since you atheists don't believe in God.. why the hell you would celebrate a day that contradicts your beliefs???? FAIL!

  • @wilbrit09

    Spring Equinox.

  • I've had this happen as well. My ex partners brother and his wifecame to visit from the US. So, come the first meal, he decided we'd all hold hans and pray. Didn't even ask f it was ok, or did anyone mind. Because I joined in the first time, it was expected that I'd join in at every meal time. I only did it because there were children present, and it would have raised awkward questions if I didn't. But it persisted, even in restaurants in the middle of Paris.

  • @wilbrit09 Theistic religions, especially Islam and Christianity, are by their very nature immoral and dangerous. They encourage followers not to think and commit abhorrent acts in the name of god - since god forgives you. The christian bible demands that parents kill their children if they disobey them. It demands the mass murder of entire cities if 1 person does not believe in whatever flavor of god is popular at the moment. Religion is a system of brainwashing and control. Wake up if you can.

  • @wilbrit09 im not sure what Christians you have observed engaging in 'building ppl up'. I have seen Christians lobbying congress to deny human rights, trying to shove a fairy tale down children's throats in school, trying to wish away a problem instead of actually doing something about it, and that's before opening up a history book. Christianity is a cult pure and simple. I guess some atheists do 'break ppl down' if by that you mean: try to wake the hopelessly delusional up to reality.

  • @TheFlyingSpaget There are plenty of Christians out there that aren't doing what they should in the right way.. by no means do I agree with that.. but it seems as if you are referring to the old testament.. things have been updated since them, so try to read up a little.. And you can call Christianity a cult, thats cool.. whatever, but you are very wrong. lol. jst cuz you say the grass is blue doesn't mean its actually blue.. :)

  • Holy zombie god flesh. XD

  • Jesus regarded those who pray for their own recognition as arrogant. “Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you” (Matthew 6:5-6). To love your neighbor as yourself does not warrant judging them

  • To answer your question at 2:55 - YES ! A lot of normal people have the same problem ... The fanatics won't let you go unless you buy into their dogmatic behavior. Thanks for standing up for your right to be an individual !

  • It just seems to me that atheists are attention seekers... check out exhibit A above.. (the girl in the video)

  • @wilbrit09 how? we just want to be left alone.

  • @FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 Left alone.. hmm.. lol. okay. but yet atheists post many videos protesting their rights and beliefs.. like they are allowed to.. maybe you should make such a hasty generalization.. maybe YOU just want to be alone.. but this girl.. wants the controversy.. along with the many other atheists on youtube..

  • shouldn't****

  • @wilbrit09 wtf

  • @FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 He was suggesting you shouldn't generalize, especially to your own tastes and perspectives. Interestingly, after you replied to his comment saying the same thing....

  • @wilbrit09 It seems to me that your labels and generalizations are about as accurate and useful as John the blind archer.

However, some people are attention seekers... Check out... The whole of youtube!

  • @mriswithmoo What leads you to believe that my "labels" and "generalizations" are not accurate?? You saying they are inaccurate holds just as much credibility as me making these accusations.. so please stfu. :) && yessss attention seekers are the whole Youtube! Imagine that! XD This one in particular; however, is extremely annoying and extremely ignorant :) Doesn't make a good mix

  • @wilbrit09

Labels not so much in this case, she is clearly an Atheist, but best to avoid them in general due to them being to easily caught up in stereotyping.

Generalizations are also best to avoid because they're never correct. For example, I could say all women have a period once a month. But that is not true in many cases.

You said atheists, implying all, are attention seekers. Could I say the same of Christians or Muslims because there is a number of them on YT?

    See my point?

  • @mriswithmoo

So, no, my statement holds far more credibility than yours. It is easy to prove what I said in a few logical examples, where as you could not do the same for yours.

So once again, no, no shutting the fuck up or down or any other direction. Ever. [Clearly I plan to become a ghost. A really loud one.]

    "This one in particular..."

I wouldn't like to comment at this time upon your opinion of her character, or voice my own. ;)

  • @mriswithmoo Okay, very true.. let me re-phrase.. *Atheist on YouTube* (Feel better?) are attention seekers & yes, I would agree 100% that christians are attention seekers, but they have a different motive.. to build ppl up.. atheists' motive is just to break ppl down.. just sayin

  • @wilbrit09 Hmm, maybe that is true to an extent, but is a matter of perspective I suppose. An atheist will view their actions in much the same way a theist would; building them up or what ever end result they have envisioned from their actions.

Though I imagine both have within their number an element of deliberately malicious motives.

  • @wilbrit09 Someone posting about their own personal experiences is an attention seeker? What about people who rant and rave and promote other peoples supposed life experiences whether its on TV or out in the streets with HUGE banners and signs saying that you are going to hell if you dont accept jesus into your heart.

Ive not seen her on tv shouting down our throats or seen her with huge signs. Id say shes pretty mellow but thats just me.

  • @Xellith youre right.. that is just you. :)

  • @wilbrit09 The evidence supports the theory that you are an idiot by the way. You just whooshed on EVERYTHING I just said.

  • @Xellith Yeah I really did.. I'm not in the mood to respond to stupidity and debate... blahblahblah.. find someone else who will give in to your troll-like behavior.. I'm not interested.. find some evidence for that theory homeboy

  • @wilbrit09 I'm sure if you was on the other side of the fence as the rest of the population you would come to realize that you are the one displaying troll-like behavior. I listed the qualities of an attention whore - none of which the poster displays - yet you still went with what you felt was true - just like a creationist. GJ at being stupid.

  • So what is Easter then exactly if you don't believe in God??? Lol! GTFO of here you fool

  • @wilbrit09 yeah i agree, if you're an atheist, then NO, you can't celebrate our holiday! you know why? easter is HOLY. and you're not if you're an atheist, so don't disgrace it.

  • What is this pea-brained lemming trying to say? Simple, really.

DECLARATION TO THE MINDLESS HERD I SO DESPERATELY WANT TO BELONG TO. This video is my public declaration of total submission to the Politically Correct weltanschauung you, the herd, expect of me. I pose no threat. I have no brain”.

    How sad!

This video (like the rest of her sad, sorry videos) is Lewis' book 'The Abolition of Man', writ large.

  • PACMAN!!:D

  • If I were you, I wouldn't have laughed, raised my eyebrows and said "excuse mee..." and left...of course I'd return for the food!

  • Should have asked them for a prayer to FSM, equal time...

  • if its in your house, you are 100% right. If its in a other house and you are the guest. The may ask you to join. But not force you in anyway is may opinion. I never expirenced it. Sometimes my parents even shut up there mouth when i pray. I am oke with that.

  • So u use GOD's holiday as family time then u don't even join 1 little prayer. Its 1 thing 2 just not believe but its another 2 disrespect your entire family. Its not like its going 2 kill u and technically no1 is forcing u 2 do anything.

  • @44SCB that is a scarey look into the christain mind set. "God's Holiday" "It won't hurt you!" "1 little prayer"

If it's not your belief it's NOT your belief....let it go.

She said why she's there and it definitely wasn't for no God. Why would you have her sacrifice her beliefs to satisfy yours?

  • @Jayjon81 Its just basic decency 2 join your family in prayer. Y would u care so much about praying or not if u don't believe in GOD anyway. It is GOD's Holiday (Holy Day). And I don't see how my mind set is so scary. U accuse Christians of being intolerant but not joining a family prayer 4 something u don't even believe in is true intolerance.

  • @44SCB what u said made no scense. Please re-read last.

If she's an atheist that means doesn't believe in their God, which also could mean she has another belief system. Probably Secular Humanist.

Could you really say the same thing to me if you went over another person's house and their family prayed to a differant God? or how about Satan? I very much doubt it. You are not trying to see someone's perpective, you are trying to convice me your perpective and that's why you don't understand.

  • I'm mostly non-religious, at least in practice, and admit it is an awkward experience to be asked at a dinner table by (relative) strangers to hold hands and pray, knowing that I do not share their belief in active consequences of prayer. Still, since it seems to give them comfort/satisfaction, I figure whats the big deal?

I mean really, what harm is there in it? Unless there is some bigger principle-thing that I'm missing...

  • Honestly if they try to make an issue like that with me they'll wish they had left me alone after I jump out of my seat and act like I'm possessed :)

  • I was at the state legislature to lobby for planned parenthood and before the legislature went into session they asked everyone to stand up while they prayed. I stayed in my seat FUCK THEM!

  • You always have provocative titles to your videos, so I happen on them. Only to discover that you're never conveying anything worth minding. I skip forward 20 sec here and 30 sec there and it's just the same boring self-indulgent conceited childish ranting. I think this will be the last time I visit your videos. Good riddance, huh?

  • Of course it is disrespectful towards you.

I cannot recall the last time I saw anyone in the UK saying prayers before eating food in the UK.

My abibing memory of a visit to California in the early 80's was seeing a small group of people saying prayers before eating... hamburgers at a Wendys of all places. I was not the only one who stared at them!

  • God an the devil is real as can be but if u don't believe o well but that's u . But if u don't want to pray that's u the thing all so is people pray to god to help them with there problems or help them get through there day or pray for a love one in need praying is great. If u got any type of cents you'll start to pray too real talk I don't see why u have a problem praying .

  • Maybe the others in your faimily can put aside there beliefs long enough to make this women fell comfortable and at ease. Which is obviously more than you were willing to do. Got tolerance?

  • @fieldsbc991 I'm just saying....if an adult came to me telling me they believed in Santa, I probably would think they were insane. But I wouldn't spend the next several years of my life making videos and dedicating a good portion of my time to telling them how wrong they are. Why? Because while I may think it's crazy, it's not hurting anyone for them to think the way they do.

  • I see this happen all the time. There is a reason you are uncomfortable.

  • Did it ever occur to any of the Atheists out there that maybe your family wanted to pray with you because they're worried and love you? If your family honestly believes in Hell, wouldn't it be absolutely hateful of them not to warn you? Maybe we should stop being so obnoxious and look at it from their point of view. You're obviously being dealt with about it spiritually. After all, I don't see any videos of you in an uproar because someone believes in Santa. Nope. Just God.

  • @hollypop2001 "I don't see any videos of you in an uproar because someone believes in Santa. Nope. Just God."

I don't know of any mentally stable adults that believe that santa exists, maybe there is something like 0.00001% that do. It's very difficult you see when you stop living with your parents and have your own kids, santa doesn't do any of the stuff he's supposed to. Now with God, the stuff hes supposed to do is done in such a way that it is impossible to know if he exists or not.

  • @heatmourning33 My point is that it's not hurting children to believe in Santa, and it would be cruel for you to go around bashing them for it. It's not hurting anything for people to believe in the Christian God, and so you should go around bashing people for it. Let it be.

  • @hollypop2001 I don't think most atheists go around bashing people for believing in God. Posting a youtube video talking about religion isn't the same as going up to a person and saying "your stupid because you believe this." Also I think that adult Christians are a little less fragile than children who believe in santa and if an otherwise sane adult did believe in santa I would probably bash him for it, especially if I knew he was competent enough to understand my arguments against santa.

  • @heatmourning33 You're missing the point completely. Believing in God isn't hurting anyone...and I honestly can't figure out why you people are so offended by people believing in God. If you don't believe it's real, then go about your life as you would if someone believed in something else you didn't believe in. The fact that people feel the need to make tons of video's about it brings around the idea that you care so much because you do believe and don't want to.

  • @hollypop2001 "you people," oh well now I'm offended. Not really. Personally if I was in this situation I would have handled it one of two ways. Either I would have joined in on a harmless prayer or I would have said "no thank you". If I would have been pressed into joining the prayer, I might be offended. As far as youtube videos go, nobody is pressuring you to watch them, some people like discussing these things and if you don't like it I suggest you take your own advice, and ignore it.

  • @heatmourning33 LOL I meant "you people" in the most harmless way possiblle. Maybe I should have said "you atheists"?

I think your way of handling that situation would have been great, and it's not that I have a problem with people making videos in general. There just seems to be a lot of hate and anger, and I don't understand why that is, if they honestly don't believe.

I can't ignore it. I honestly believe in a Hell. I'd be a horrible person if I didn't try to warn people about it.

  • @hollypop2001 haha, I was joking with the you people offense. I don't make videos, but I do like watching videos about atheism and religion and talking about belief in God because I find it interesting. And in probably the same way you cant believe there are people out there that don't believe in God, I cant believe so many people really do believe. Maybe I am waiting to be convinced, but so far all the reasons I've heard to believe are really really bad.

  • @heatmourning33 That's understandable. To me it just seems so logical that there is a creator. I do have a hard time trying to figure out why it isn't that way for everyone. I look at the evidence for both sides, and it just appears to me that there isn't a question out there that isn't answered better by a creator than by evolution. All of that, along with the presence of God in my life, it would be nearly impossible for me to say I don't believe...

  • @hollypop2001 What do you know about this creator? How do you know what you know about him/her/it? Evolution isn't a big part of me not believing in god either. The only real significance it has is that it allows me to understand living things better. If I didn't know anything about evolution I would say something is responsible for life, but I wouldn't start giving any attributes to that something, because I wouldn't know anything about it, and to say I did would be dishonest.

  • @heatmourning33 How you read the book "Case for a Creator"? There's a movie too. Those and some of Lee Strobels other books do a great job with the physical and scientific evidence. I really like him, because his intentions when starting out were to prove to his newly believing wife, that she was wrong and there was no God. He ended up finding out for himself that there is, and he does a great job explaining it.

  • @heatmourning33 Aside from that, I have my own personal experiences. I can honestly look back through my life and see the hand of God in every part of it....even the parts of my life where I doubted he was there at all. I've felt him....even when I was denying him, I knew with everything in me that I was wrong. It's really hard to try to explain it to someone who doesn't believe you, or hasn't know God before... especially when you run the risk of being told you're physco for knowing God.

  • @hollypop2001 I've read enough of Christian apologists arguments to know Lee Strobel won't use anything I've heard already. But still I'd like to hear your answers for what you know about God and how you know it. I mean why do you call god "he"? Do you believe he is a person will male genitalia? If anyone could tell me what God is and how they know what God is with a reasonable answer I would no longer be an atheist, at worst I'd be agnostic.

  • @heatmourning33 I actually do have an answer for that, but you probably aren't going to like it.

I know that God is a "he" because that's what the Bible says. I believe that I know God because I feel his presence in my life, and I've seen his hand in all of it. I believe in the God of the Bible because of the history of the Bible, the facts in the Bible, the evidence and the prophecies. Would you like me to go into more detail as to why the God of the Bible?

  • @hollypop2001 The only way we know the God of the bible at all is through revelation.People wrote the bible,Not god.It is not like an historical account of George Washington's life.It would be as if we found his bones years after he died and didn't know anything about him,but we suddenly had a divinely inspired revelation about him and wrote a book about all the things he did.For good measure we add events that we know actually did happen. I don't know about you but I wouldn't believe this story

  • @hollypop2001

"After all, I don't see any videos of you in an uproar because someone believes in Santa. Nope. Just God."

That's because the people who believe in Santa can't vote. However, religitards vote based on a shared delusional belief. Which is dangerous to people who aren't complete retards since we're outnumbered by the people who are.

  • Food- The best reason to celebrate.

  • They may be pretending to pray to a god. But don't think for a second that you're not putting on a show too. : )

  • She probably thinks about God more than Christians. : ) It's ok if you're an atheist, just don't be Christian about it.

  • @RedlineMMA The only fiction is in that bible. And what a pretentious asshole you are trying to pretend that you KNOW there is an afterlife. The only reason you think so is because that book of fairy tales you're reading. It's wishful thinking, nothing more. Only children believe in fairy tales.

  • @MrTruthAddict

I agree with your post.....minus me being a pretentious ass hole ...I think I may have misunderstood your post. I saw you told someone they belonged in hell so I assumed you were a theist.

I don't believe in fair tales either

  • @MrTruthAddict Psalm 53. 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good

the shall burn en feel the wrath of the eternal living god how shall destroy them

HE has the power to judge en throw thou in depts of HELL

i might go to hell but at least i have a chance to be forgiven unlike a pagein/heiden soulless animal like you

if you reply me back i wont reply back

    have a nice day demon

  • I've had this happen during family reunions and of course thanksgiving.Normally I find a convenient excuse like having to use the restroom just when the prayer is about to go on.Or if I can't do that I will at least not touch any of the food until they are done thanking someone else for the food they worked their butt off to provide. The least I can do I guess.

  • You do exactly what 98% of "religious people" do on easter - celebrate a pagan holiday of eating and painting eggs! My thoughts are that you shouldn't bash a man who died so your mind wouldn't have to be so narrow, and every word you say isn't a curse or some puffed up self proclaimed philosophical theory. No offense:) Just sayin'. Why do you think you're here on this earth?? Life is more than eating and clothing

  • eh fake prayer can be okay. not like real prayer is any more effective. but basic point, if you don't want to, shouldn't have to. plus might run the risk of being called a liar with pictures of you praying. Richard dawkins supposedly does fake prayer if eating with people who ask to say a prayer, and i'm guessing that is more fodder for religious people.

  • 2 Peter 3:3-4 states

3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

  • I have this problem and I'm a satanist. :(

  • If i was a muslim......Yeah thats a great way to have a conversation

  • Hello may i request you to Read the Holly book Quran with concentrate Just once and don't lead your self on the hell fire and don't misguide people with your ignorant, please

  • @MrShadeq i did read it , and it's full of crapp :)

  • hahhaa you fundies suck the only thing id be eatting during easter is her..

    happy munching folks

  • I think it was wrong for them 2 try 2 force u 2 pray but u shouldn 't eat while they do pray

  • Its disrespectful to eat while they are praying, and its disrespectful to call Jesus a zombie.

  • Looks like Eminems wife Kimberly Mathers

  • fiend.

  • What made this girl so angry at the world? What the hell. I'm a surly bastard and she even seems mean to someone like me.

  • Haha! Zombie god! :D

  • you are so beautiful dont worry i will pary for you girl

  • You're pretty... and intelligent.

  • I know how you feel.I have to deal with the same crap during 4th of July, and Thanksgiving. The fourth because that's usually when we have our family reunion and thus the obligatory family prayer before we all eat and thanksgiving for the same reason.Honestly what I usually do is join my hands with theirs but I don't pray.I don't bow my head or anything like that because when you think of it who's going to know..everyone else has their head bowed & eyes closed in prayer.

  • Zombie god and sky daddy. Great nicknames.

  • This is a National Geographic video on wild succubus`s.

  • I finally told my poor Christian mother that I was atheist and therefore didn't celebrate Easter. I thought she was going to pass out. I would usually just fake prayer on Easter, or Christmas, but my my family never really prays before meals, except when my Pentecostal aunt is in for Thanksgiving. My father was an atheist as well, and so prayer was never big in our house.

  • Haha I would never try to force you to hold hands or bow your head. lol I remember before I was a Christian, how awkward it was when someone tried to make me do that. It just felt os wrong. Plus why would they want you to pray with them, jst silly :p

  • Hey. You just outlined why I hate organized religion is a nutshell.

It ain't about nothing but forcing their views down my throat with all those robes and collection plates.

Nobody will ever succeed in telling me what to believe, but it sure would be nice if they would stop trying for ten seconds.

  • why are you telling us your problems lol like we rly care

  • after all ull be thanking the creator for the biissings, why wouldnt u? Did u creat the food. Just thank god that u werent born in Darfour.

  • Did the person who tried to hold your hand and pray know your feelings about the situation before the dinner? If not, why are you complaining to me and the rest of the world. Complain to the person who tried to force you into praying. Have you even confronted this person. (((NOOO!!!))) If no, you are a coward and a constant compainer. Shame shame.

  • (angry voice) I demand you respect my religious beliefs!!! (/angry voice)

    BWHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ugh, i have family troubles with religion, but mostly because i've stopped believing and haven't told anyone because i dont want to upset them. my mom has gotten more religious in the pass few years so now we pray before meals and go to church at least every sunday. and i go along with it because i dont want to bother her, i just kind of suck it up, no matter how much i disagree with the Church and religion in general...

  • Physically your do-able. Mentally your call in sick to have sex with all day....Interested?

  • white supremacy is rastafari and black supremacy is rastafari unbelievers are ignorant though they know it not but thats ok

  • And let me guess, you're bisexual and being atheist is all part of you being rebellious to the parents that you hate so much.

  • I have seen many atheists give there hearts to Jesus. it is not uncommon for an atheist to start believing in God. Even though I do not agree with what is being said I still think she is cute to watch ! =)

  • I am and Atheist to and this has happened to me before too but I still held hands even though I felt it was weird.

people should'nt force you to believe in something you choose not to.

  • Im white & I pray!!!

  • I understand where you're coming from. I've been there myself. The last time I was asked by family members to say grace I started thanking the big G for everything I could think of until my step dad lost patience with me & forced a break in my phony prayer with an angry Amen. The food was getting cold. I've never been asked to pray again.

  • I am a christian, and i pray before a meal, but i don't think if you're a different religion you need to do it at all. But just a couple things. 1. Don't call God (even if you don't beleive in him) a zombie. and 2. you dont nee

  • I think you should've prayed for repect of their religion, but what you do during your own meals is your own choice.

  • I think her attitude is exactly right.

I think the people who inserted their prayer into the gathering and then were bothered by healthyaddict's behavior were arrogant and disrespectful. The host may assert rules beforehand, but guests should never.

If you turn the question in reverse, you might realize how ridiculous their request is. Would they not pray because healthyaddict suggested not to do so? It would be against their personal principles, which is what they asked of healthyaddict.

  • OMG!!...I just realized that I'm a 'internet stalking'

'healthyaddict -adherent'...Does this mean I'm ' in love' or simply misguided in my thoughts ? Or is it simply that I've created an ideal term for viewing her videos for fun because she's thought provoking, interesting, and very attractive as well ?..Hmmm, I know many may disagree; however, to find a young woman with such a vibrant, intelligent personality is very rare.. And common on, she isn't ugly at all.[ Glasses or not] I like her....

  • Doesn't bother me when this stuff happens. If I was visiting a tribe of pagans deep in a jungle and they asked me to particpate in a ritual, i'd do it happily. I look at these Xtian rituals the same way. If they want me to lead the prayer that''s different. Anytime the word god comes up, i add " whatever god you choose to believe in if you do so choose to believe in one at all" said very fast like a legal disclaimer on the radio. Most of my family have stopped asking me to lead prayers now.

  • There may be value in participating in cultural/religious rituals, but it seems that healthyaddict's situation was a forced issue, and not a request.

Dinner at my in-laws is just like her situation, but I know it's under my in-laws house ritual and I participate knowing that.

The Xtian guests seem to have hijacked the dinner ritual (commonly no prayer). They need some lessons in proper etiquette (follow the hosts lead).
