Socialism is a broader term of state ownership that includes Communism, Marxism, Collectivism, Totalitarianism, etc. Each of these may or may not have capitalistic economic practices within them. There isn't any direct comparison (Communism, Socialism, Capitalism) to each.

Populism is pretty irreconcilable with libertarianism, since populism relies on majority to dictate what is allowed and what not, while libertarianism goes out from the position that there are given rights that no one should infringe on, not by majority or otherwise.

I have friends working in the world bank and they are paid extremely well, too well. Its a organisation to assist those countries in need of financial assistance but yet their staff have been so well take care .Its really a shame and a big joke including the united nations , its just talk talk talk , all rubbish , no action. Cambodia khmer rougue leaders atrocities-killing a million people but only after 30years , only one of their leader just been held responsible,imagine 30years after, JOKER!

@IBMCs2009 And Naomi Klein. If you get a chance then read The Shock Doctrine, published 3 or so years ago. It is is detailed analysis of the doings of the IMF, World Bank etc over 45 years. Her basic thesis is that these organisations wait for disasters, be they natural, political or economic, and, while people are too stunned or overawed by the disaster to fight back, the IMF/WB will leap in, in the guise of ' help' but really re-shaping the given society to their own ends i.e. profit.
